Beware of their "House Wine." My husband and I ordered their "Vasco's To Go" Menu for two last Saturday, January 17th. Please view vascomillvalley.com/uplo… for verification of their $40 "To Go" which includes 2 salads, 2 pastas (except pescatore) and a bottle of white or red HOUSE wine. We chose their red. When picking up our "To Go" menu the... More

I have been to this restaurant several times since it first opened and usually leave disappointed. The prices are reasonable, but that's about it. The restaurant is always noisy, the service average at best and the food is unremarkable. Maybe I order the wrong thing as even the basic salad seems small and unsavory and the salmon always looks and... More

How often do you see the owner at the door Greeting you. Well here it is. Staff is very friendly and makes every effort to accommodate. Food is very very good and the Wines are too. Owner will help with the selections. Great local place to go alone and sit at the Bar or with the Family. Steve behind the... More

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Couldn't believe the low prices. Wife had the skirt steak which was super tender and tasty and I had good old chicken Parmesan, which was excellent. Had some drinks and a great meal for a very reasonable price. Cool atmosphere in there as well. Nice place.

Noisy, hot (90+F), radiating ambience. My Antipasti mixta was good and coupled with a dry Martini got upgraded in an instance. The salad was impeccable- they've taken out the sauce and the other alien ingredients, added couple of fresh tomatoes and brought a 1st grade olive oil with a lemon. Almost wept.

Vascos is owned and operated by one guy whose family has a long history in business. Vascos is named after current owners dad who ran long time SF place. Dinners are consistently good and there are regular specials. Salads are wonderful as is pizza. Good reasonably priced wines mostly Italian and Nor Cal. Good bar scene in tight quarters. Locals... We were based in Mill Valley for 5 nights after spending three nights IN the city. Gosh, we didn't even realize we hadn't seen our friends in 9 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After spending some time at their home and meeting their 3 children and having wine and cheese we drove downtown. VASCO was where they took us......no reservation and we got seated... More

We loved this place! The food and service were great. The prices reasonable, and the atmosphere was so cozy and also lively as far as the look of the room. They're great and we wish we were back in Mill Valley! The food was Italian but with adventure! Possibly the only drawback would be that when full, the sound level... More

Food was very good, service nice. We enjoyed the restaurant which was in the town center and an easy walk from our hotel.
