Nothing startling, but this is a nice solid Italian restaurant with good atmosphere and a lovely little bar. It is both cozy and airy.

Our hotel recommended this spot to us. It was our first night in CA and after a long drive from the airport, it was a welcoming restaurant with good food, mainly italian cuisine. Service was good.

You know when you're on a business trip in Cincinnati and you're tired and you just go down to the dining room at the Hyatt and it's okay but nothing you'll even remember tomorrow? Well, that's what it's like eating at Vasco. The mighty meh. One hint, any place that keeps its liquor stored against the glass window with the... More

I have eaten at Vasco numerous times over the last 5 years and have enjoyed the food and service every time.

Long ago it outgrew its local tavern roots. Today Vasco is reliable for a date, a family gathering or just hanging out. The pizzas are worth it and the service sturdy and steady.

We were encouraged by the noisy crowd and obvious popularity of the place but found the food to be very mediocre, and the service no better. When you have to ask for more water, more bread, etc., that's not good service. My calamari was lost in a bizarre mixture of just about every imaginable vegetable. The Caesar salad at eight... More

This is our favorite Mill Valley trattoria. In 10 years we've never had a meal go wrong. Terrific drinks. Can be noisy during peak hours. Excellent thin crust pizza. The whole menu is approachable and reasonably priced.

We visited Vasco last week during our visit to Mill Valley. It definitely lived up to its reviews. The service was fantastic and so was the food. It was also packed with locals so you know it had to be good.

We tried Vasco’s on a Tuesday evening. We arrived on time for a 6:15 reservation for four. It wasn’t too busy yet as we were seated right away. Our table already had bread, and water was served promptly. The menu was full of choices and we each chose something different. Being two couples, we both decided to split a salad.... More

Had a mediocre meal at this establishment during our recent trip to Marin County. Service and food were sub par. Atmosphere was fine. Better choices for Italian down the street.
