We loved this place! The food and service were great. The prices reasonable, and the atmosphere was so cozy and also lively as far as the look of the room. They're great and we wish we were back in Mill Valley! The food was Italian but with adventure! Possibly the only drawback would be that when full, the sound level... More

Food was very good, service nice. We enjoyed the restaurant which was in the town center and an easy walk from our hotel.

Our friends took us to Vasco for our final night in Mill Valley. They said it was their favourite restaurant. The food is, apparently consistently good and we were not disappointed. The waiter was extremely witty and friendly. The meal was great along with the service.

We've gone to Vasco a few times now and it has been so consistent that we've brought friends to join us. Mason's chicken, lasagna, and chicken parm are all good. The service is great too. Brooke the hostess is a delight.

Nothing startling, but this is a nice solid Italian restaurant with good atmosphere and a lovely little bar. It is both cozy and airy.

Our hotel recommended this spot to us. It was our first night in CA and after a long drive from the airport, it was a welcoming restaurant with good food, mainly italian cuisine. Service was good.

You know when you're on a business trip in Cincinnati and you're tired and you just go down to the dining room at the Hyatt and it's okay but nothing you'll even remember tomorrow? Well, that's what it's like eating at Vasco. The mighty meh. One hint, any place that keeps its liquor stored against the glass window with the... More

Long ago it outgrew its local tavern roots. Today Vasco is reliable for a date, a family gathering or just hanging out. The pizzas are worth it and the service sturdy and steady.

We were encouraged by the noisy crowd and obvious popularity of the place but found the food to be very mediocre, and the service no better. When you have to ask for more water, more bread, etc., that's not good service. My calamari was lost in a bizarre mixture of just about every imaginable vegetable. The Caesar salad at eight... More
