Havng read some negative reviews, and as the restaurant was booked and a deposit paid months ago, it was with some trepidation the 15 ( including 2 under 5s) of us went Saturday lunch time. It was a beautiful day and the scenery was at its best and the venue itself was highly commendable. We were able to park 3... More

Were busy is not what you want to hear from a waitress after waiting around 15minutes for drinks. You cannot excuse poor service in a venue which charges high prices it brings the whole experience down even though my t bone steak was lovely my dads was undercooked but as a whole the food was nice but the impressioned you... Was my first time in pier 64 as recommended by a friend . had trouble finding car park but eventually found it. was greeted by a lovely young friendly bar tender called tom. Was taken to our table by a friendly waitress. Service was good and staff were very friendly although language and lack of respect to the waitress and... More

So Pier 64 recommended by friend who took my wife for what turned out to be a very nice lunch. So she persuaded me to book for dinner. Lovely location and all tables nicely located for view and airiness. However having been involved with the restaurant trade for a number of years I was immediately perturbed by the lack of... More

We have entertained our clients at this venue before but after this last visit on Thursday 17th July we won't be going back...There were two famous footballers in the restaurant buying champagne and of course service to us poor lowly customers was non ecistance! We arrived at 8 and we're still waiting for drinks by 8.40. The footballers though had... More

It was the first time we had visited Pier 64 and we decided to try it for lunch. We plumped for the 2 course set lunch but were disappointed that there was only one meat, one fish and one vegetarian option. However, we both chose the ham hock terrine to start followed by a pork cutlet. It all tasted very... More

I had visited once and had a good lunch in a lovely setting. Took my husband there, foregoing our usual trip to Custom House so he could try it. Wrong decision. ..cold steak... warm pinot ......pretentious clientele. Wish we had gone to our old favourite El Puerto! In 12 years we have not had anything dodgy there! Continuous high standards... My daughter wanted to go here for her graduation lunch, so we booked. I was a bit uneasy, after reading the poor reviews, but decided to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. I'm so glad I did - we had one the best meals I have ever tasted! As a coeliac I'm sometimes a bit restricted in what... More

My daughter booked for my birthday meal. Having had lovely meals at the Custom House I expected the same at Pier 64. Found the food overpriced. My 8yr old son they offered a minute steak which was great. My daughter who is in her 20's oppted for the £19 sirlion . When it arrived it was the same thickness as... More

Came here with some friends before going out to eat. If you're a regular you get friendly banter at the bar and prompt service. Unfortunately, if you're not a regular, it all feels a bit cold and the regulars get served before you. Add to this the considerable prices they charge and it all feel a bit of a rip... More
