I visited Pier 64 on a number of occasions for Breakfast - It is absolutely delicious. I have not been for lunch, but anyone looking for a perfect cooked breakfast, I would highly recommend Pier 64.

Lovely Sunday lunch, overlooking Penarth Marina. Service was good, food was second to none. One of the best Sunday lunches, would highly recommend. Will be visiting again.

The location has always been special but it seems a happier place now and the food was very special and excellent value.

We were visiting Penarth Quays Marina last month and our berth was right out side the restaurant. I have to say that I am surprised by so many negative reviews as we found the food and service was first class. In fact I would go so far as to say it was one of the best restaurants that I have... I cant understand the bad reviews on here and this is one if the best places to eat in Cardiff. Coming from a large, restaurant owning family myself, i am more disappointed than impressed when eating out. But this is one of those rare places - like the Angel in Abergavenny - that never fails to deliver. i have never... More

My husband used to live near Penarth Marina and we were looking forward to trying the restaurant on our trip from the US. We heard mixed reviews, and our experience stood up to that. Service was terrible, and I was expecting the food to be just as bad. The food was fine, not great, but it was overpriced and the... More

I've given this restaurant several chances due to its great location but the service really lets it down. It was a Thursday lunch time and if glacial paced dining is your thing you'll be right at home. The food is good in parts, the batter cod was excellent but the accompanying chips greasy as if the fat had not been... More

I went to Pier 64 on Monday evening at :10 p.m. My wife and I took drinks outside. We were disturbed by the raucous behaviour of the chef and waiters who congregated outside smoking and swearing while relating dubious stories. Is there a manager in this establishment ? If so he kept a low profile. Any other reviewers experienced this... More

For me the eating and experience was just ok. The location is superb, the look the feel excellent but the eating and service lacked everything on what was not a busy Sunday lunch. We went on an offer deal with friends but straight off as soon as they realised this we felt like secondhand citizens, even with our good wine... More

This place came highly recommended for its steaks! We were not disappointed. We took cocktails, aperitifs and red wine on top of all our steaks. Blue cheese soup was also delish. Deserts were nice too and overall the food was very good. However, due to the presence of two professional footballers and all the champagne and shots they were drinking... More
