This was our second visit to The Lemon Tree and it was wonderful. If you have read any of my other reviews you will know I am fussy with food, and I have allergies, but this place meets my needs exactly. It is very clean and has exceptionally friendly staff. The food is very reasonably priced, arrived in decent time... More

I can honestly say this restaurant served the worst Indian/Bangladesh meal I have ever had considering cost and quality. The meal was a disaster, from the minuscule portion of rice for two to the two different curries which were both warm and unpalatable, not to mention the incredibly small nan bread. Bottom line we complained and the waiter knocked 50%... More

On a recent stay in Penrhyndeudreath myself and my daughter chose the Lemon tree for a take away for our tea. They do not deliver any more, so we placed our order, walked the dogs home and then set off down to collect it. Once back home we ran upstairs and changed into our pyjamas before plating up our tea.... More

Having had a disastrous time trying to find somewhere to eat that wasn't full or didn't look like it had been in a 70's time warp, I jumped onto tripadvisor and stumbled on the lemon tree. The reviews looked great and as I was only a few miles away, off we set. I did think about calling to book a... More

Dined here recently as part of a medium sized group. Food and service were good but I felt quite 'short changed' that our very small portions of rice were served in ramakins (other diners had theirs in dishes). We were charged the same so I consider this poor service. The food was nice but my main was nearly all sauce.... More

This is a really good indian restaurant - cash only (much cheaper that way!) and very very tasty food. The chef certainly knows how to "bhuna" onions properly; everything was very tasty and portions more than ample. We liked it so much, we went twice during our six night stay in the area.

Went to this beautiful restaurant recently and I was very impressed from when the moment I stepped in. I was greeted from very friendly staff and there was hardly a waiting time as my food came out within ten minutes of me ordering! Not only this my whole meal was absolutely delicious! From starters to the main it was simply... More
