Telling people you are going to the cemetery for a meal is rather strange, but that is what we did and are happy to do so. We came upon these tea rooms quite by accident one day, as do many others, but what a find. The food is generally home cooked and quite delicious. Portion sizes are good, meals are... More

After walking, with the local walking group, to Pen Y Ball and down to the Pet Cemetery, a welcome sit down in peaceful surroundings, excellent food and staff. Sit in or out of the tea rooms and look at the view. You can watch the ducks waddling about - very funny pleasant staff, very friendly I can recommend the teacake... More

This place is a little gem. My two year old loves the surroundings, which are lovely, especially with all the ducks and chickens... the food is exceptional, as is the service from the friendly, helpful staff. Everything is freshly made and the cakes are divine. A definite must! Thankyou Hazel and all the staff.

Fantastic afternoon tea for two priced at a remarkable £12.99 which includes a 'bottomless' pot of tea or coffee...and decent filter coffee too...an absolute delight. I can also recommend the really substantial 'all day' breakfast and Welsh Rarebit which are both of the highest quality...ask for a couple of slices of their superb bacon to complement the Rarebit for a... We found this little tea room quite by accident and what an accident!! After a long walk on a warm summers day we were in need of a drink. We called in here and quite surprised to find a lovely little tea room off the beaten track. We only had a pot of tea, served in a china teapot and... More

A little treasure tucked away in the Welsh countryside, very pleasant surroundings and excellent home cooked food. Nice to have a cup of tea in a proper teapot and china cup, home baking at its best and all food cooked to order. They do fresh salads, home made soups and freshly baked scones and cakes. The high teas are very... More

My wife and I visited the tea room and I treated myself to the 'large breakfast'. My wife had a pannini. The breakfast and pannini were fantastic. Cooked from fresh and extremely tasty and filling. One thing to note is that all meals are cooked from scratch so don't visit the tea rooms looking for fast food. You get high... More

Visited the tea rooms for breakfast with my husband and 10 year old daughter after reading good reviews and live fairly local. The location is pleasant with a duck pond. We had the full english breakfast and fresh coffee. The coffee was exceptional, served in china pot with china cups and saucers. It came with steamed hot milk and was refilled... More
