Quirky place but wonderful home made food.

The Pet Cem cafe serves very good food indeed. Friendly staff. The Welsh tea for 2 is particularly memorable and comes on a 3 tier plate. Start at the bottom and work your way through utterly delicious Welsh rarebit, through bara brith, then Welsh cakes to culminate at a couple of pices of fudge... read more

Given the number of positive reviews, we perhaps caught this place on a bad day. The first impression seen was of a gentleman in a room near the car park smoking with his feet up on pet coffins, not very sensitive or inviting on several counts. They had obviously been very busy, as was confirmed by staff comments. However, the... More

Since my last review of the Pet Cemetary Tea Rooms I've probably visited 2-3 times since. Called on Bank Holiday Monday we were only going to have a brew but my dad spotted there was lobscouse on the menu, with red cabbage. That was him sorted! I had simple eggs on toast. The pots of tea are unending and we... More

We come to the cafe quite often, and have never been disappointed. By now, we have sampled many of the range of dishes and they have all been excellent. The breakfast is out standing, although I agree that the large breakfast is very large and not to be challenged lightly. The bacon is very tasty , and locally sourced, and... More

Just travelled from Ellesmere Port and it was well worth the journey. The large breakfast is not for the faint hearted. Tea rooms very clean. The staff were so friendly. WELL WORTH A VISIT,

After an interesting walk around the pet cemetery with my kids and dog we found this hidden gem! We all got meals which were lovely. The toast was exactly how my son asked for it and the dog was even offered a sausage :). Afterwards we had cake which was to die for! Couldn't recommend this place enough. Great atmosphere... More

The cafe at the Pet Cemetery was airy and pleasant with attentive friendly waitresses. The food we had (sandwiches) were excellent and I can heartily recommend going there to anyone. You can get a meal if you want one or superb cream teas. The location is well designed and you can have a pleasant walk in the grounds. The only... More
