we lost our most beautiful dog 2 weeks ago and the vets recommended this place to cremate Harvey. They travelled over 150 miles to collect my gorgeous doggy , and the whole experience was so considerate ,caring , thoughtful , not enough words In the English language to express our thoughts. I collected my doggies ashes today ,so a really... More

We visited the tea rooms for the first time today. There was 4 of us and we had high tea for 2 & the autumn special afternoon tea for 2. The food was absolutely delicious, moist cakes, sandwiches bursting at the seams, crumbly buttery scones & delicious coleslaw! All produce is of a very high standard, locally sourced ,meals home made... More

Have been several times and always enjoyed a variety of freshly prepared food. The grounds are very pretty and the restaurant is dog friendly . The staff are normally very welcoming although there is the odd exception. What I do find a bit confusing is the identity that the owners are seeking to develop for the tea rooms . On... More

Not my first visit, but each visit just gets better. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, very well maintained grounds, the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. From the delicious steak, mushroom and onion baguette, to the fantastic home made selection of cakes, and on my last visit I enjoyed a fantastic freshly cooked all day breakfast, it was perfect, hot,... This was my sister& I first visit and our last! We were impressed by the gardens and landscape which was very well maintained. When we entered the cafe we were met by a lovely friendly waitress who said we could sit at any table. I asked her to clarify the Autumn tea menu which she was more than happy to... More

Given the number of positive reviews, we perhaps caught this place on a bad day. The first impression seen was of a gentleman in a room near the car park smoking with his feet up on pet coffins, not very sensitive or inviting on several counts. They had obviously been very busy, as was confirmed by staff comments. However, the... More

The Pet Cem cafe serves very good food indeed. Friendly staff. The Welsh tea for 2 is particularly memorable and comes on a 3 tier plate. Start at the bottom and work your way through utterly delicious Welsh rarebit, through bara brith, then Welsh cakes to culminate at a couple of pices of fudge. Magnificent. The soups are extremely tasty... More
