Wish we had tried Peggy's earlier but were kinda put off by the exterior. Friendly service and good food, though a little slow. Pretty busy when we there, eve of the annual buffalo round-up, so they can perhaps be excused. Try the cheese soup - delicious! Had our first buffalo steak. The chef refuses to cook beyond medium, and he... More

Stay away from this place - waitresses had bad attitudes, and food was even worse. Soup seemed to be from a can, and the reuben was awful. We saw huge cinnamon rolls and pies that looked good and may be, but didn't try them in our rush to leave.

I apologized if your meal was not to your liking. I wished you would have wrote your review sooner as you did with the hotel you stayed in so I could have looked back at any issues. Now I am closed for the season and can't do anything now. I am not sure if you spoke to your server about... More

I travel a lot and can tell you after a long drive from Missouri, it was a wonderful treat to sit down to a dinner at Peggy's Place. It was no frills, but just a quaint local cafe feel but they offer a lot of freshly made entres with a local spin. Also, if you go there, you need to... More

Nice small-town family restaurant ... even had veggie burgers done well. Friendly (maybe a tad slow) service and reasonable prices. Wish we could have tried their breakfast.

Stopped by for a late breakfast on a weekday morning. Good mix of locals and visitors. Staff very attentive, hard working and engaging with all customers. They stayed busy cleaning and preparing condiments in between assisting patrons. Great home made sausage gravy and biscuits. Lots of baked goods, very tempting!

This place was packed and more kept coming in on the afternoon of the Custer Pk. buffalo roundup. We had also been at the roundup and had no lunch that day, so came at 3:30 p.m. for dinner. Started w/cups of yummy, whipped cream topped cocoa on a cool, rainy day. And, it was good, but pricey. Then I ordered... More
