Another little gem in Gourock

Fabulous elevated views over the river Clyde with spectacular sunsets through floor to ceiling windows. Food is very good. Chicken Tempura is a delicious dish with side salad and chips. Great place to go to if you like to drink cocktails. The food is of a good quality but the main reason we go is for the varied cocktail menu. We would normally spend the afternoon enjoying our favourite drinks wit the occasional snack. Snacks are always tasty.

We love a cafe that is dog friendly, good food, great view over the Clyde and lovely friendly staff. We happened on this cafe and had a very enjoyable lunch with our dog curled up on the floor

Nearby the swimming pool, so this place is handy for a post-swim warm-up. Quite busy on a Thursday lunchtime. We got a table by the window, with a great view over the Clyde estuary. Good was pretty good - chorizo and emmental panini was a hit. Chicken and rice soup would have been better if some monster hadn't put celery... More

Visited Flava today. As always, we were made very welcome by the friendly staff. Delighted that cinnamon and apple scones were available as a 'special' for Christmas. Excellent - would highly recommend. Don't know why they're not on the menu all year?!

Great place to sit and take in the view, staff are friendly but the menu is overpriced. Additionally, their white wine is never cold enough which is a sacrilege for any bar/restaurant.

Four oldies on an outing really enjoyed the view from the loft and the coffee and scones weren't bad either. The place doesn't look much from outside but inside its welcoming on two levels. We went to the upper, loft level where there is a waitress and bar. In general we felt the sandwiches at £6.35 were ott. However, coffee... More

Flava is our favourite place for breakfast. Great choice of food and the coffe is delicious. Can't think of anything better than a table at the window, looking over the river while eating a delicious breakfast. What's not to like??

Morning Coffee... Poor coffee. Plastic, preprinted, menu. Uninspiring menu. Why do we need photos of Cakes etc? Service hopeless. Lunch...... Dirty table. Bottle of wine dumped on table, waitress did not even take time to open far less pour it! Wine was over priced for quality . Long wait for food. Need to improve , no excuses please.

I like Flava. It does what it says on the tin. Upstairs is lively and serves fab cocktails ( apparently) and a nice beer! The grub is lovely too and fairly well priced. However, for every ting there is a yang. On virtually every occasion we have been in ( sometimes just the other half and I.......sometimes with pals) the... More
