Alexander's is not only right on the road to Mt. Rainier National Park but offers a bit of upscale dining. Winter hours are weekends only for breakfast but during the summer months, they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offer a really enticing and diverse menu. This is a good stop and highly recommended. Their gift shop is... More

Amazing place to eat! Had the salmon the first night and it was the best I have ever had - fresh, flavorful and a generous sized plate of food. Great wild boar and breakfast too!

We had a delicious dinner and very nice breakfast at Alexanders. Dinner was much more gourment and upscale than I remember from past visits. Fabulous salad, nice mains. Plenty of homestyle choices too. Would highly recommend it if you want a more elegant (but not more expensive) meal while visiting Mt Rainier.

Good food and lovely bird watching in the morning right outside the window! Fun! Dinners are nice as well and they do box lunches for hikes in the mountains!

When traveling to Mt. Rainier stop for dinner at Alexander's Inn in Ashford, Washington. We celebrated a friend's birthday there and the food was wonderful, the service outstanding and the ambience great. A definite find.

Our 24th wedding anniversary we decided to stop for dinner. Not only was the entree great but we were given some h'ordeurves(unasked for) that were excellent and all for a price comparable to other establishments in the area. We were truly impressed with the chef and staff.

3 friends and and I ate here after a long day of traveling. The environment is attractive and pleasant. The quality and flavor of the food was so-so, especially in light of the prices we paid. Our server was very sweet and friendly, but at the end of the meal there was a mixup with our checks, which seemed to... More

This is a lovely small restaurant with a great menu. Our meals there were a little expensive but really well prepared, and generously proportioned.
