Stayed at the Inn during our visit to the national park. The breakfast that came with the room was excellent, Not a big selection but they are willing to accommodate everyone. Our fresh fish dinner special was excellent but very pricey. Service was excellent and very friendly. The dining room is not very large but quaint. They have their own... More

Food was excellent, setting was good as well. Got to watch birds right out the window. Breakfast was included with the room and was a good hot meal with lots of choices.

We stopped at Alexander's for dinner after spending the day at Mt Rainier National Park. The staff was very friendly and the dining room was very quaint. It took longer than we would have expected to get our food, but we weren't in a hurry. Our food was excellent, so we didn't mind the wait in the end! I had... More

Ate at this restaurant because of great reviews in Fodors. We ordered a dinner salad that to my surprise did not come with the dinner. It was average. The bread is highly complimented in reviews and I found it average too. The trout was supposed to be good but it was fried so I got the salmon. It was fresh... More

We ate here on the first night of our 2 night stay, and the feed was really good. Plenty of it, very tasty, but a little on the pricey side, but there are no real alternatives in the area.

Food was poor to good: trout was nice, fresh, but I've had better; scallops good. Wild salmon was dry and not very tasty. Shrimp had an iodized taste, we're sent back. My wife asked for a hamburger instead, got a cheeseburger. Food was slow arriving, even the child's pasta dish for our 3 year old granddaughter. Over-priced for the lack... More

Want to like Alexanders because our server was quite kind. It has some things going for it-- but mostly, it's just caught in a sort of weird nether region between identities. On one hand, it's clearly striving to distinguish itself from its neighbors as a higher-end, more refined dining option. But it comes up well short in that regard. I... More

We stopped in after a long day at Mt. Rainier and ended up with the flat-bread pizza which was very good. It is very quiet and quaint with small, very private booths. It is a good place to just chill. The menu was limited and a bit pricey. The lovely hostess and waitress made up for much of this but... More

Of the 3 places we ate in the Ashford area, this seemed like the best. Cozy atmosphere, booths that afforded privacy, friendly staff, and good food. The only downside - a little pricey but you are in the boonies getting quality food. WiFi was available which is very important out here with no cell phone reception.

The fresh trout was to die for! The staff was without a doubt, very professional, very personable and the atmosphere, music and feng shue was very peaceful, even eating outside!
