Under new management. One of the few restaurants (or at least decent ones) near the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Very interesting--serves both traditional food (trout, sandwiches, etc.) and Nepali dishes. Best of the three places we tried when visiting Rainier.

Not bad

I tried this place after eating at Copper Creek down the way the night before. I had a burger with fires and the taste was a little bland - probably because some people just can't have a lot of spice in the meat or on the fries. The bread was a little stale but everything else appeared fresh made... read more

Located at the entrance of Mt Ranier NP. Nepalese food in addition to regular American fare. Quiet and fun.

We stayed in Ashford while visiting Rainier NP and stopped here twice. The prices were a little higher than I would have liked, but there was plenty of food and it was delicious. We had the Sherpa stew, Himalayan dumplings, yak burger, and water buffalo burger. You can't get that food many other places! We also had a slice of... More

Good Himalayan and American food, including Momos, curry, burgers and huckleberry pie with ice cream. Yum! A simple, no frills place that's nice to stop coming or going from Mt. Rainer.

Food was very good here, everything we had was fresh and well seasoned, but not to much. Prices were best in the area. Place was clean and the service was prompt. would recommend to anyone.

We ate outside on a nice patio. Great menu with American and Indian selections, and one of the daily specials was a yak burger. Something for everyone, and it was all good! We came straight from hiking, so were glad it is a casual place.

We enjoyed our dinner here. The Sherpa menu is interesting, but wasn't our thing, so we had some of the more conventional dishes and enjoyed everything. We especially liked the berry salad dressing and loved the pies. We got a piece of each and they were yummy!

They have a featured beer and wine of the day, which are discounted and very reasonably priced. Good choices on menu for both vegetarians and carnivores. They are a bit on the expensive side, but they have a captive audience, so they can get away with it. Lovely outdoor seating if the weather is so inclined.

We were starving by the time we left Mt. Rainier National Park so we stopped here to eat. Two of our party of four had the Yak burger. They thought it was good but not spectacular. One of us had a salad that was good but again, not spectacular. The last person in our party had a regular hamburger and... More
