This is my first ever review on trip advisor. We were here yesterday for late lunch, and while we were waiting for our meals, one of the server got yelled at by a customer for not being able to give them the exact time time frame of when the food would be out, the table next to us yelled so... I enjoyed the Sherpa stew and pappadum chips. They are thin, lentil wafers with a very crisp, nutty flavor. The tamarind chutney was different and I could not decide if I liked it or not but I did enjoy the wafers for sure. They are called wafers but actually large and so light and crispy. Sherpa stew had very good... More

There is not much in the way of eating options outside Mt. Rainer (Nishwally entrance). After reading reviews of this place on TA, we gave it a try. My husband an I both tried the Nepalese dishes and liked them! Similar to Indian, not as spicy. There are plenty of other options as well. Service was excellent. Wireless internet available-believe... More

We enjoyed eating in the outdoor garden in this friendly family-run restaurant. It has standard American food but also a few delicious Nepalese menu items.

Nepali food plus lots of "American" food. I had a Nepali tray with a curry chicken, rice, Sherpa tea; my husband had the trout. We had spent the day hiking the fields of ash at the foot of St. Helens, and we were exhausted and hungry. We left happy and full. Yak burgers are served when available.

It was getting a little late, so my family and I decided to stop at Wildberry on our exit from Rainier National Park. Wildberry is a small place not too far out of the park's southern exit. What a treat! The restaurant is run by folks from Nepal and features typical Pac NW fair as well as some Nepalese dishes.... More

What a gem of a find! The staff are friendly and place simple but authentic. The food is just amazing. The adults tried the Himalayan dish which was just to die for! We certainly got our fill and could not decided which item was better than another, they were all amazing. The kids had soup and a sandwich that could... More

Was only .2 miles from where we stayed and very near entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Would have preferred to be outside but tables were full.

We loved not only the great food ( try the Nepalese dishes) but the ambiance and the fact that this family travels back to Nepal to cater folks for Everest. Staff was wonderful, food great....wish they were in my hometown!!! (-:

Okay, first of all have you ever had food from Nepal? If not, here is your opportunity. Though our lunch entrees were American--club sandwich, turkey and cheese, and Greek salad (!) and perfectly made and served might I add--the real star of the meal was dessert! A lovely blackberry pie and kulfi, an over-the-top Nepalese ice cream with almonds, mango,... More
