Under new management. One of the few restaurants (or at least decent ones) near the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Very interesting--serves both traditional food (trout, sandwiches, etc.) and Nepali dishes. Best of the three places we tried when visiting Rainier.

Delicious

So great to find good Nepalese food out of Nepal or a big city! Loved the thali and the service. My friend and I both had slightly upset stomachs the night after we ate there; however could have been something else who knows. I would definitely give this place a try, it was delicious.

Good for all-american fare, but you should take advantage of the unusual opportunity to taste really good food from the Himalayas. You won't be disappointed!

We were looking for soup and a salad for dinner and read their menu from our hotel. The minute we entered the small cozy establishment, we were hit with a questionable smell that we couldn't figure out. The staff was friendly and quick to take our order of their small house green salad. It was very large and full of... More

We visited this place several times during our vacation a number of years ago when it was under different ownership, and while several American dishes remain on the menu, our better bet probably would have been to have some of their offerings from the Nepali menu. Both of us ordered fried chicken dinners ($17.99 each), a meal we'd had in... More

The property is not that pleasing on the eye, although it has a certain 'small town' charm and the dining area is a little like sitting in the kitchen, but the food and the hosts are both very pleasant. As a group we ate the American and Nepalese dishes and everyone enjoyed the food as well as the different beers,... More

The place isn't super charming on the inside, but there is some decent outdoor seating. We opted to try the Nepalese dishes, and I was a little disappointed. There just seemed to be a general lack of flavor in all of the dishes. It also took quite a while to get our food, and then it was not all that... More

The hotel staff recommended this, as did the TripAdvisor reviews. My take is that the Nepalese food must be better than the American options, which my grandson and I had. Since it was too cold to eat outside, the inside space was small and the restaurant was busy. It took way too long for our food to arrive. My fish... More

Wildberry was suggested for us by staff at Nisqually Lodge. Glad we ate there. It looks like many roadside country restaurants, but the food was excellent. We ate on the patio. They were very busy, so service was a bit slow. Ok with us, we had the time. I was told that Wildberry is owned by the same people that... More

We heard about this restaurant from the owners of the bed and breakfast we were staying at. Hot and tasty food after a long day at Mt.Rainier. A great change from the other local options available.

How many opportunities do you get in life to eat Sherpa stew. The food was great, different, healthy and perfect for any outdoor enthusiast or anyone else for that matter. We had the Nepal platter and the stew. On another day we had regular food like burgers and fries and it was all good. Service is delightful and the place... More
