It was raining the whole time we spent at the Inn but we still enjoyed being in the forest and using our imagination to 'see' the Mountain. We had delicious comfort food for lunches and dinners. The dining room is no frills....but perfect for the lodge setting. Wait staff interesting and very helpful. The restaurant was quiet and inviting...nothing like... More

Quaint, great service, lovely rooms and a fireplace gathering room to play games in or just read a good book in the warmth. Winter or summer we love this place!

A very nice place for lunch. Certainly not so crowded as Paradise Inn. The grounds offer a kind of museum and the Trail of the shadows is a short, but very impressive trail. Really enjoyed the nature and tranquility there!

Very expensive for what you get. I had the surf and turf special because it was the same price as just the steak. The turf you would expect to be lobster. It was shrimp. It was okay for one night.

We ate here while staying overnight, and found the food was excellent. It was expensive but consistent with the National Park lodges, and had different offerings than Paradise. Dinner waitress left a lot to be desired, but Forest, our breakfast waiter was outstanding!!

This is a very expensive hotel. Queen bed was very small and they dont provide free complimantary breakfast. Stay in this place one when required.

Convenient location, nice individuals providing service and food is basic American fare. Breakfast is good, dinner is average but fine - not sure what some of the others expected - this is a National Park not a gourmet restaurant. I have stayed at the hotel and also just grabbed a meal (breakfast typically) and found both the service and quality... More

I love staying at the Inn, however eating here is very average. It's too bad, because the setting and atmosphere of the place are great. Dinner was very disappointing. As a National Park property, it is higher priced than the average dining experience outside the park, however I had hoped for food that would justify the price. The mixed green... More

It pains me to write this review. My wife and I spent three glorious nights at the Inn. Our first meal (dinner) was at the Inn and as much as we wanted it to be great, it was very below average. The service was great, but the food wasn't. We had breakfasts two mornings which were better. We couldn't bear... More

The waitresses could not have been nicer. While breakfast was excellent (but not cheap), dinner was not great. We were glad to have a place to eat close to our room after hiking all day, so it is hard to complain, but I would not recommend eating dinner there if you were just passing through.
