Used to love this place and it seems to have been ruined and poorly run. Manager just flirts with the waitress and that's about it

Went for a meal in the evening, lovely place, large car park, but disappointed with meal. The place was cold, no central heating on, no ambiance about the place, nothing on tables , just your knife and fork and a napkin. The meal was disappointing, some worse than others, happy to get back in the car to get warm. A... More

We went here for my husbands xmas do. We'be have been here before but not for a while so didn't really know what to expect. Staff were friendly and welcoming and were quick to offer us a drink in the bar area. Few initial hiccups as the manager explained that there was a malfunction with the guiness pump but it... More

Firstly i think your main issue is the whole restaurant is run by kids who don't know how to deal with people, your management are more interested in flirting with there staff to care about the people sitting waiting to have a (nice meal) not that that happened. Who wants to sit and eat and socialise freezing being spoken to... More

Pub was freezing inside (apparently the boiler had broken) and we had cold air from the air conditioning system blowing over our table. We sat in our coats all evening. Service was slow - our table was booked for 7 pm and we got our mains at 8pm ( didn't order starters). Food was ok but nothing special. Would have... More

What would of been a lovely Christmas meal with friends, started and ended very badly. When we arrived for our booking, we were told that the boiler was broken so our intended sitting area was no longer available and that we have had to wait. When we did managed to get a table (over an hour past our booking). At... More

14 of us booked The 3 Horseshoes for our annual Christmas get together & from start to finish it was a pretty shocking experience. The meal had been booked well in advance & we'd paid our deposit & pre ordered our food as required. On arrival the pub was noticibly freezing... on enquiring one of our party was informed that... I went on 6th December. We had booked this resturant 4wks ago for our annual get together christmas meal. As we arrived we noticed how cold it was in the bar only to be told the boiler had broke on Friday and it hadn't been fixed. Their log burner wasn't on as they didn't have no one to do it...not... Popped in on a Sunday on a whim. Managed to get a table for 4 although I think we were pretty lucky as it was pretty busy. Food was well cooked and really nice. Took the right amount of time to come out so you know some actual cooking as gone on! Nice atmosphere and good service. Would visit again... More

Used to be a really nice place to go in the 80s. Having passed by 20 odd years later thought i would check it out. Decor changed to contemporary looked pretty nice. The fish n chips however took too long to arrive over half an hour still not arrived. Asked the staff they said a couple of minutes waited another... More
