Had pork belly but hardly any pork mainly fat on a bed of supposed to be mash but was definitely instant potato so very disappointing for a £12 meal. Service slow and very impolite. When mentioned to the waitress that we thought it was instant mash she said she would check with the chef but didn't bother coming back which... More

My husband and I chose a sharing platter and a baked Camembert to share. Very well presented and plenty of variety - a good supper choice if you're hungry but fancy something different. The pub was very busy when we went - 8 o'clock on a Friday night. We queued for quite a while to place our order and buy... More

I have been to this pub to celebrate a birthday, it's fantastic! Lovely place! with the possibility of also tables outside, great food, excellent service, and I recommend their lemon cheesecake tasted anything as good! I can not wait to go back!

A standard Chef & Brewer pub with tasty food and the outside seating area was pleasent but the wait for both the starter and the main course spolied the experience. There appeared to be just one person serving and the number of customers greatly outweighed his ability to keep up however hard he tries.

Visited with husband and mother. It was 5pm Sunday hardly anyone in the restaurant most people outside in garden as nice weather. Ordered drinks, had to ask after 15 mins as not arrived then had to chase up for order to be taken, staff chatting behind the bar . Dirty glasses stacked up at bar. Ladies toilets really dirty paper... More

I visited the Three Horseshoes with family for a birthday celebration. We particularly wanted the big round table near the entrance as you can see and chat to everyone around it. We were a party of 9 so had one each of three sharing platters, all very tasty and just enough for us all. Four of us had the slow... More

We turned up at the Three Horse Shoes without a reservation but the staff bent over backwards to make a table available to us. There was a very comprehensive menu and the waitress was attentive and helpful. Our meals were excellent. The meat was very tender and tasty. My wife commented she thought the beef was probably the best she... More

Overall a bit of a disappointment. The food varied between quite reasonable and 'What on earth are they doing?' The latter applied to the baked(?) camembert platter we shared for a starter. It came out like an unbaked camembert but with a small pool of cheese on the top - anything dipped into it penetrated only a few millimeters before... More

Visited for my mother's birthday. The food was decent but the wait in between the starter and main was 45 minutes which simply wasn't acceptable. Quite plain to see how shorted staffed they were. A nice restaurant otherwise.
