We are a 17th century traditional Cornish coastal pub, offering hand pull beers and great food. Colin & Paul Marriott, yes twins, you're not seeing double, took over the Plume from Graham Thomas in October 2013 after Grahams mighty 35 year reign and are indebted to him for his grace and support. His legacy of a friendly welcoming pub continues to be paramount. We are building a great team here at the Plume. With the refurbished 'Upper Deck' Dining room for relaxed dining and private functions

First class service, prompt and with plenty of smiles. Excellent food, well cooked and well presented. Completely surpassed 'pub food'.

My husband and I enjoyed a meal here and it was very nice. Good portion sizes which made it good value. Would definitely go again we had lemon sole, cambert Cheese, cod and chips and pie and chips. Good atmosphere and very busy.

Stopped here with the family for a lunch whilst holidaying in Portscatho. After a walk over from Towan beach over the headland we enjoyed an alfresco lunch on the street to the harbour The pub enjoys a monoplistic position in the centre of the town and its hefty prices reflect the lack of competition considering its a pub This aside... Visited in August, made to feel welcome, good choice of dishes, 8 of us, 4 vegitarians and 4 Carnivor's. Something for all of us, I had the mussels excellent. Pub still retains it's character and has not been ruined yet. Food better than just pub grub and I think even better than our last visit, staff attentive and professssional, well... More

Popped in to The Plume of Feathers for a drink. But thought the menu and food on people's plates looked good, so decided to eat here. Luckily we found a free table. It's got a good atmosphere and was full of locals and holiday makers on a damp evening. The steak and mushroom pie was excellent. It was so full... More

Visited while in lovely Portscatho. Very busy, including some children, but not 'loutish'. Quite 'atmosheric' and olde world. Young staff very friendly and efficient. Great food! Will visit again when in this part of Cornwall. Full marks!
