We are a 17th century traditional Cornish coastal pub, offering hand pull beers and great food. Colin & Paul Marriott, yes twins, you're not seeing double, took over the Plume from Graham Thomas in October 2013 after Grahams mighty 35 year reign and are indebted to him for his grace and support. His legacy of a friendly welcoming pub continues to be paramount. We are building a great team here at the Plume. With the refurbished 'Upper Deck' Dining room for relaxed dining and private functions

Prices creeping up but still a good pub.

Been in three times over as many years and generally had a very good time. Mostly traditional, friendly, good company, often an open fire and hearty comfort food. Back in over the end of the year but found that the food is noticeably more expensive and some components were not available or sold... read more

Its not franchised, its not themed with plastic anonymous decor, this is a genuine stand alone , original , dont mess me about Pub ! Great location, walls three feet thick, low ceilings, roaring log fire. (and you can take your dog in.) Friendly staff who actually are pleased to see you, great food, lovely bar, no piped music of... More

This is my second visit in the past year. The local beer was well kept. For lunch we had sandwiches which were great and well made. Service was very good even though they were very busy.

The food at this place was beyond amazing! This included the local ale and cider. The serving portions were huge, we had to take foods home with us. I had the most devine cheesecake-"Christmas pudding cheesecake! The atmosphere was not so great- a bit frosty really and I am not talking about the weather! The food made up for the... More

myself and my husband first visited The Plume of Feathers back in late September and found it to be hearty, comforting and good quality food so we returned eager to try their winter menu. After traipsing through the rain we were looking forward to a nice hot coffee and a spot of lunch but upon arriving we noticed the lack... More

Usually visit in the summer, and so was interested to see what was on offer out of season. There was a limited menu and although the food was good, it was over priced and the portion small.

We visited here for a pub lunch whilst staying at The Driftwood Hotel. Portscatho is a pretty Cornish village on the Coastal Path. This is a friendly, welcoming pub with good beers and a varied menu of high quality pub grub. Still a proper "pub" and not aspiring to be anything more, it is exactly what you'd want for a... More

Menu has changed since our last visit, quality and portion size still excellent. Recommend their roast dinners, lovely.
