We are a 17th century traditional Cornish coastal pub, offering hand pull beers and great food. Colin & Paul Marriott, yes twins, you're not seeing double, took over the Plume from Graham Thomas in October 2013 after Grahams mighty 35 year reign and are indebted to him for his grace and support. His legacy of a friendly welcoming pub continues to be paramount. We are building a great team here at the Plume. Feta salad lovely

This is a great pub, with attentive staff. We enjoyed a meal outside. Food service times very good, salad was excellent and the bar staff friendly. We moved inside and it was so busy we struggled to get a seat. I like the table reservation system here, chalk message built into the table, along with... read more

What a lovely pub this is. We booked for Sunday dinner and were given a choice of Beef, lamb or pork. You could have two meats or could have all three. I had pork with crackling and lamb. The portions were generous and a boat of extra gravy was supplied. For afters we both had rum and raisin cheese cake,... More

We stopped there for lunch after the walk around St. Antony. Great food. Fresh Vegetable Lasagna and a good Greek Salad. Very friendly staff, as we came almost past lunch time :)

All the staff were soo friendly...the beer was local...most of the food I believe was sourced locally...and was absolutely delicious..we had lamb chops, pink and fillet of salmon on risotto .Faultless.. Parking has issues ...available but can be a long way from the pub Be prepared far a 5-7 minute walk.. Despite this I do recommend visiting and exploring a very... More

My wife and I had supper here on a recent visit to Cornwall. The menu is typical pub grub. Our cod and chips were good although they did take a while to produce and unfortunately were served on cold plates. The young couple running the pub were extremely busy and on the night seemed short staffed. The pub is clearly... More

We went for lunch today, wife, 9 year old daughter and 1 year old dachshund. I had the steak, kidney and ale pie with chips and veg, my wife had the Cornish seafood platter and our daughter had cod and chips - just water for Louie the 'daxie'. It was all really good and large quantities, followed by some excellent... More

Parking nearby can be a challenge even during the off season for this very popular pub and restaurant which is used as much by the local inhabitants as it is by visitors to the area with all being made to feel welcome. The efficiency of the two staff was impressive for such a busy venue and their knowledge of the... More

From the moment you step inside a friendly welcome awaits. The log fire was burning well and the tempting pie and a pint for £10 per person was too tempting to miss. Steak and ale pie with a rich depth of flavour served with a flaky topper, now usually I do prefer a shortcrust pie but this was very tasty.... More

A lovely local pub frequented by local people and families, as well as tourists. A welcoming fire blazed in the grate and the front of house staff couldn't have been more friendly. We booked a table for the next night and ate good freshly prepared pub grub. A homemade lasagne and standard fish and chips. Very attentive staff. There are... More

Went for Dinner with 4 other family members. Atmosphere friendly and a proper pub with hearty traditional fare, well cooked. Good choice of beer and local produce. Nothing fancy but very satisfying.
