Stayed in Portscatho on a recent visit, used the Plume for evening meal on 3 occasions. Everything a village pub should be, welcoming staff, good honest food and nice atmosphere. Food is varied, reliable and well priced. You have to place all orders at the til but all food is delivered with a friendly smile. If you enjoy a good... More

Very popular pub. Good food and atmosphere. We walked along the coast and happened upon this establishment and were very pleased with the service and food.

We have eaten in this pub many times over the last 30 years or so and they used to serve fairly basic 'pub grub'. We booked a table for 14 people in August and expected it to be busy but although the service was friendly the food was very disappointing and poor value for money. The crab and prawn 'special'... I've eaten in the Plume for many years and the food has had its ups and downs - mainly up I might add! Now there are new owners and the food is good with lots of variety and caters well for children. Great service with smiley servers too. The pub was quiet for August though and some ambience was missing.... More

Portscatho is one of our favourite spots in Cornwall and we often stay around New Year as well as in the summer so the "local" is very important to us. Whilst the atmosphere has always been good and the beer & wines good the food has always let it down. Thus it came as good news when we heard that... More

There were 8 of us and the pub was full, food was excellent and decent service as well, good selection of beers and the prices were reasonable, definitely recommended for a meal with family

We visited Porthscato on a very showery day and had lunch at the Plume and Feathers. We were not disappointed, the food was very good, good choices with several fish dishes and all very tasty. The atmosphere was very friendly and we would highly recommend a visit.

A great meal at this very popular pub. Customers spilling out onto the street. Lovely, friendly staff and delicious food.

I had the sea bass which was really tasty. The portions were very generous and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and would definitely eat there again.

this was the first place we ate after an 8 hour drive to cornwall. Asking at the bar if we could book a table we were directed to ask the staff at the back of the pub "as I don't deal with bookings"......not the friendliness of cornish welcomes to start. My wife and mum had the lamb cutlets both came... More
