We visited Porthscato on a very showery day and had lunch at the Plume and Feathers. We were not disappointed, the food was very good, good choices with several fish dishes and all very tasty. The atmosphere was very friendly and we would highly recommend a visit.

A great meal at this very popular pub. Customers spilling out onto the street. Lovely, friendly staff and delicious food.

I had the sea bass which was really tasty. The portions were very generous and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and would definitely eat there again.

this was the first place we ate after an 8 hour drive to cornwall. Asking at the bar if we could book a table we were directed to ask the staff at the back of the pub "as I don't deal with bookings"......not the friendliness of cornish welcomes to start. My wife and mum had the lamb cutlets both came... More

Been here regularly, then it shut down and has recently re-opened with a make over which has brightened the place up. Friendly welcome from the bar staff as we went in, lots of choice of tables as most were sat outside. I ordered double burger w/Cornish Blue Cheese on a Brioche bun with Rustic Fries, lovely! My partner ordered Moule... More

The pub landlord managed to squeeze a large party of people in at short notice for a meal which we appreciated and we didn't have to wait long for a nice plate of food. There was a varied menu and plenty of space in a seperate room a few steps up from the bar. Toilets were clean, a nice pint... More

On holiday in Cornwall last week and it was chucking it down with rain, so decided on a pub lunch. Found a place called Portscatho on the map and headed on down with the hope finding a decent pub. We certainly did! Although the village is small, we parked rught outside the pub which is just delightful. Small, but with... More

Went to this lovely, homely pub for lunch with the family very recently. Firstly, the location was brilliant. Typical Cornish village by the sea. Secondly, the pub itself was nicely decorated on a sea theme. The menu was not bad at all, with some nice 'Specials' on the board, all reasonably priced. Good selection of Beer and some seating outside... More

We had a table for 6 booked at 7pm on a Thursday. The bar was very busy and the atmosphere was lively an friendly. We were seated in a raised restaurant area with lovely decor. The restaurant area filled rather quickly which may have been the reason for the service not being particularly great. When we first arrived the staff... More

Had lunch in the pub on the 23rd July. Thought I'd go for the Chef's pie of the day. Was told it was chicken. It was without doubt the worst pie of any kind I've ever had. The chicken was recognisably chicken but the sauce was watery and as the meal tasted so salty I assumed the green veg in... More
