We are a 17th century traditional Cornish coastal pub, offering hand pull beers and great food. Colin & Paul Marriott, yes twins, you're not seeing double, took over the Plume from Graham Thomas in October 2013 after Grahams mighty 35 year reign and are indebted to him for his grace and support. His legacy of a friendly welcoming pub continues to be paramount. We are building a great team here at the Plume. Nice pub, lovely village

A really nice place for lunch after a long cliff-top walk in Portscatho. Menu was varied, but not overly long, which bodes well. Nice specials board. Sandwiches were excellent. Scampi really good. Service was great and friendly. Prices very reasonable (about £50 for four inc drinks). Lovely place... read more

We spent 1 week in Portscatho and following a few good meals last year, we felt confident in visiting again. We were not disappointed! The choice of local ales and ciders is superb whilst the menu offers good value for money, quality food full of local produce. The menu keeps a few staple favourites whilst having a specials board which... More

Lovely pub and has some really really good food - my wife had a shell fish medley which was gigantic and tasty - and my fish and chips was soooo nice (best chips I've ever had!) Decent ales on tap from St Austell brewery too which is always good. Parking near the pub can be an issue, but it is... More

Had some tea here and a few pints after a days cycling. It had a very friendly atmosphere and the staff were great, even though they were rushed off their feet. It served basic but nice pub food and most ingredients were locally sourced.

We arrived on a Saturday lunch time having visited many times before to be told that the San Miguel lager was off because the barrel needed changing and none of the staff knew how to do it! We should have taken this as a sign and not stopped... I tried to order food to be asked by a young waitress... More

We were holidaying in Portscatho & had 2 excellent meals at Plume of Feathers. Wide menu, with traditional cod & chips, lasagne & chilli, but also some really great specials. I had the Mussels first visit - delicious & equally delicious Plaice 2nd visit. The staff were friendly & professional, despite being very busy & in tonight's case some other... More

3rd time we've visited in the last 2 weeks, 1 lunch & 2 dinners. There'll be a 4th visit Saturday. The specials are a taste explosion, the staff are friendly & attentive & cheerful. The Plume of Feathers is serving good restaurant food while operating as a friendly local pub.

A lovely Cornish village with nice coastal walks, then after your walk call in the plume of feathers for a treat. A great menu served by friendly, smiling staff. Prices are very reasonable for food and drinks. The menu is quite varied with some tasty sandwiches and quirky mains. If you have the ham egg and chips you will be stuffed, enjoy.

Went to this lovely old pub in a delightful Cornish seaside village on spec and we were certainly not disappointed. Excellent food served by cheerful staff and a superb pint (or was it two?) of St Austell Tribute. Excellent portions and very reasonable prices.

Visited here with my fiancée for dinner while on holiday. Can't speak highly enough of the food and service at The Plume, all the staff were polite and friendly, the service was prompt and the food simply Devine. I had the plume burger with blue cheese and my fiancée the chilli, would recommend these and the cheesecake. We will definitely... More
