While being in Morristown, NJ for a few days on business I was really hoping to find good restaurants as this was the only free time I had during my stay! I am so glad we found Asahi as I was really craving sushi. The staff was so friendly, they made us feel very welcome and although we got there... More

I was not a big fan of sushi. But my daughter took me to this restaurant because she is, and she hadn't been there before. We were both impressed. Our rolls were delicious and more filling than I expected them to be. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small but pleasingly decorated and obviously a favorite... More

Good food and nice place but not much atmosphere and if the staff is not very friendly the huge portions make up for it! They do not have a liquor license so it's a BYO which is great!

Very good food here. My wife and I shared sushi special ,16 pieces of sushi 2 rolls really like the sushi was "mouth sized" not overly large. (often wondered if sushi places do that for American patrons aka super sized) . We also shared sushi salsa which sounded interesting.it was quite tasty but rather expensive for 4 slices of fish... Asahi is a sleeper in Morristown. The sushi is fresh and well made. The service is excellent. And, it's easy on the wallet. BYOB makes it even better.

Best sushi in Morristown. I've been to all of them, and although sushi lounge is great, sometimes you just don't want to spend all that money on a sushi dinner. Asahi is great. BYOB so you don't have to rack up that bill on cocktails/wine, fish is super fresh and they are extremely friendly. As a Morristown resident, this is... More

This is a cute little sushi place with friendly service and its BYO. The sushi was arfully prepared - they care about the flavor combination and eye appeal here. They make their own ginger dressing and soy sauce (which might be a little fishy for some.) Overall, a great experience, but felt the sushi was a little bit pricey (many... More

My friends and I went to Asahi a few weeks ago for sushi - we visit a lot of sushi restaurants and Asahi was certainly solid for that, but nothing was truly memorable. Go if you want a reliable local sushi experience. The waiters were a little confused taking our order but got it right. No ambiance but steps from... More

Asahi has the sweetest owners and workers. They make amazing sushi and it's always fresh. They even bring dessert out for birthdays! It's a small restaurant, but think NYC. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I really enjoyed the staff and food at this place, yummy choices of rolls. The only down size is that the vent system is not too good so the smell of fried food was very strong.
