The crab sandwiches in this cafe are fantastic. Have the granary bread as so fresh. The scatty old staff add to the attraction. Do not know if it is an act for our amusement?? They love paddle No. 8 and give it to everyone which causes some problems! One of the locals said they have been like that since it... More

My idea of a crab sandwich is loads of crab on whole meal or granary bread. The Jetty did exactly that. One member of the staff caused confusion, but it added to the atmosphere. Second visit and it the last. If you enjoy crab then this is the place to visit.

Sadly this cafe, which used to be lovely, serve delicious quality food has gone downhill fast. I suspect the new owners are to blame. The chutney, for instance, was once award winning and is now clearly Branstons own. Waitressing staff are a delight however, excellent coffee made by Zoe, but the owner waffling on is a put off. Sad but... More

We visited this cafe with a longing for fresh crab and we were not disappointed. We waited for a table and then enjoyed fresh crab sandwiches in a cafe decorated with sea colours and decorations. We ordered the crab sandwiches and a side order of chips and hot tea. We were not disappointed and could taste the delicious freshness of... More

Visited this busy (nay, packed) cafe as my partner loves crab sandwiches. She said they offered up best crab sandwich she ever tasted (I am not a sea food person, fortunately non marine items also on offer!) The number of people who came in to cafe and had to leave as it was packed all the time we were there... More

We visited here having seen the Tripadvisor certificate of excellence in the window. The staff are friendly enough and it's reasonably priced but it fell a bit short on quality for me - breakfast was pretty greasy with no choice on how eggs are cooked and everything was fried.

Just had a very good luch at this small and friendly cafe. Simple fresh salad and a whole small dressed crab which was very fresh and tasty. Nothing fancy but a pleasant atmosphere and very good coffee as well. Also dog friendly which was nice.

Extremely unwelcoming. Poor customer service. Avoid if you have children or a disability as won't accommodate. Appreciate that the premises is small but others in the town are too and they have been so friendly and want your custom.

Nipped in when taking our dogs for a walk. There were not enough seat available for our gang. The staff saw this and came out with more tables and chairs. Lovely tea and cakes. Dogs welcome inside which is a bonus. Thank you Newcs and family Leicester
