This was the only eating house in Cromer that we could find, that you did not have to eat chips ! We both had the home made stewed beef pie with vegetables (£9.95 per head ),plenty of meat in the pie,you did not have to look for it.Vegetables were more than adequate,in fact four different... read more

we visited the Garden Street Grill on a recent stay to Cromer. All I could say was it was excellent food (I had a Chicken in creamy sauce with vegetables) and very good service. It was Easter Saturday so the place was very busy, fortunately we had pre-booked a table. I must admit I didn't expect the quality of the... More

Passing through on a weekend away, we saw this place in the centre of Cromer. Early evening, so not busy. Food was good, very generous portions, service efficient, no long waits. Prices average. Would go again.

This was a lovely surprise just the sort of thing I was hoping for. Walking from the upper prom I could only see ice cream parlours & fish & chip shops. No matter this little gem was delightful, pleasant attentive waitresses & efficient service. The good was well cooked too. Excellent

We went here for Sunday lunch whilst on holiday in Cromer and was not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and efficient and there was a great menu. We had the roast turkey dinner and the pork in mustard sauce off the specials board and both were great. A good variety of vegetables arrived along side a full plate of... More

Well now - I'm wondering if we ate at the same place as the other reviewers because our experience was a little different! I think it would have been fine - and this could have been four and a bit stars - but the head waitress was having a bit of a bad day. Firstly we made the mistake of... More

Having just arrived in Cromer on the Saturday evening, we ventured into the Garden Street Grill in early evening. Although they were busy we were soon found a table with a smile! The menu was varied and I guess we both had what is best described as "comfort food" and we were not disappointed, in fact we were beaten! Lovely... More

We visited one lunchtime during our long weekend in Cromer. The staff make you feel welcome as soon as you go in. We were amazed at the wide choice of dishes and the Specials Board must be checked out. My husband chose the liver, bacon and mash from the board and he really enjoyed it and commented on the good...
