Doggies Welcome

We had telephoned in advance to enquire if we would be able to take Dexter, the Labrador Retriever into the Courtyard Restaurant. The owner, Phil, said that was not a problem and booked us on a table in an alcove where Dex could sit quietly in the corner. Before we went into the restaurant, he did... read more

The restaurant is attached to the pub which doesn’t look the most salubrious of establishments but the restaurant had a very interesting looking menu. We ended up eating the seabass with a prawn veloute and the vegetable tagine. There were many other dishes chalked up on the board which are not your standard pub grub (there are photos attached to... More

A group of us, 6 adults and 2 little ones, went to this restaurant for lunch. When we arrived the owner was very welcoming and friendly, helping us find space to put our huge double buggy. He was friendly and chatty throughout our meal and it was the best service we have had, I will go as far to say,... More

We ate here for Sunday lunch. For people walking along the coastal path like we did , you find the Wellington above the pier sort of behind the hotel de Paris. We had the Sunday roast an it was delicious. The deserts were equally tasty and well presented. The staff were very friendly and also very child friendly and had... More

We visited with our two children although thankfully one of them was asleep. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly and the food was absolutely wonderful .All of our dishes were excellent in terms of taste presentation and quality. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable meal of our holiday and would definately return .

Fairly standard pub, better prices than the Red Lion, but less seating. Went there two nights while we were in Cromer, both nights, we had to contend with the bar staff talking with their mates.

Stayed for valentines night. Lovely room, beautiful furniture. Was lovely and comfortable and warmed up nicely once the heating came on! Could have done with some toiletries in the room but over all can't complain, the rate was actually cheaper than I was expecting to pay on arrival which was a nice surprise. The overnight stay was mildly ruined by... More

We visited here last weekend with a group of friends (8 adults and 8 children). Couldn't have wished for a better place to spend the evening. The staff were fantastic; relaxed, welcoming (despite the 8 children in our group!), even letting us put on our own choice of music on their ipod. Food was also great with good veggie and... More
