Hidden away at the back of the Wellington pub (aka 'Welly') we found the restaurant with a surprisingly varied menu offering great food and service. Although the choice of wines was OK, we thought the food deserved more and being attached to a pub it could have been a little more extensive.

a return visit for us, once again great fresh produce superbly cooked and presented by friendly staff. Even a quiet Monday saw an excellent menu. Highly recommended once again!

I really enjoyed the meal we had here. Portion sizes were good, the prices were reasonable. Staff were pleasant. The only criticism I had is the lighting. It felt a bit like eating in a canteen but you couldn't fault the food. I had the pork belly and it was yum!

its over a year since our last visit, the bar is still a great bar, just like a bar should be, no quarrel with that. The food was not so good, though. OH said the sausages were very bland, my chips were very strange, almost sweet, definitely some kind of frozen product with perhaps a batter coating ? I don't... More

We called in for Sunday lunch and it turned out to be a good choice. We waited 10 minutes in the pub which was a bit "traditional" until a table became available. The Seabass was absolutely delicious and the lamb shank just melted off the bone. Nice friendly service and good value. Well worth a visit.

Looks are deceiving . From the outside it looks like a pub for the locals inside that is what you get in the bar area, but if you go through to the rear of the property there is a lovely courtyard with tabels and chairs and huge unberellas and to the far side of the courtyard there is a resturant....
