Hot chocolates and cake all round!

A sunny Cromer day in the winter was further brightened by the staff in Buttercups when we popped in for our morning hot chocolate. It was a lovely atmosphere but be warned it is not a cafe for you if you don't like dogs as they were allowed in with their owners.( I'm unsure whether this is just... read more

The place is lovely as already mentioned and the staff we great as it was really busy and they tried hard to find us a table as quickly as possible, but for the price of things they need to use better produce than just supermarket fair. Why, for over £5 would I want a cheese and ham toastie made with... More

Good selection of cakes and pastries and proper tea served in a pot! Sandwich selection includes the famous Cromer Crab and all sandwiches are large with salad and crisps. Well presented food and helpful staff

Dog friendly, smallish tea room close to the Hotel de Paris. We had a cappuccino, a latte and 2 teas which came in a large pot. Sadly, not much of a view from the window. Friendly staff. Food sounded nice, but not tried.

Service here is excellent, really good sense of humour...read the plaques behind the counter, e.g. 'If at first you don't succeed, do as your wife says' . But seriously, the crab salad, locally caught and dressed was wonderful, great choice of teas and coffees as well as cakes.

If I had read the negative comments before popping I might have given it a miss but am pleased we didn't. Lovely Cromer crab salad and a delicious bowl of tomato soup. Just what we needed on a cold day like today. Polite and friendly staff. Clean environment. Reasonably priced - crab salad £7.50 and soup £4.25. If I lived... More

We came across this tea room when roaming the narrow streets of Cromer and decided to call in one afternoon. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and the menu had a good number of choices. The cafe itself was tastefully decorated, clean and well set out? We decided to have a cream tea, with fresh baked scone, it was... More

My husband and I were greeted by very welcoming staff. There is a great choice of food from salads (I had the tuna mayo salad which was excellent and plenty of it), baked potatoes, soups or baguettes, sandwiches and of course not forgetting the lovely cakes. We had a Latte and a Cappucino which were very tasty. We were there... More

Perfect after a walk down the beach. Tasty homemade soups. Good friendly service. Not a bad price. Helped to make a winter visit to Cromer an enjoyable experience.
