Enjoyable light lunch

Dog friendly café serving teas, cakes and light meals. Two rooms, with about 9 tables in total. Service was friendly and efficient. English breakfast tea was OK but nothing special; extra hot water provided on request (and needed for more than one large cup each). Paninis were quite good... read more

Went here on Boxing Day, when there were thousands of people in town to watch the annual 'dip'. On entering were told "there's no seats". We couldn't believe this was happening as there was ample seating in the room to the rear (we know from a previous visit) which was curtained off - What possessed them to a) curtain it... More

A lovely little cafe close to the cathedral and pier. It offers a great breakfast plus a good range of snacks and cakes. The welcome is always friendly and it is one of the few cafes that welcome dogs. It is definitely worth a visit for value and quality. We visited in December and the cafe had a real festive... More

After a lovely walk around Sheringham park we decided to pop into Cromer for a drink and a bite to eat at Buttercups tea rooms. A nice welcome awaits the tired traveller with home made scones with clotted cream, jam and Victoria sponge cake followed by a pot of strong tea to wash it down with. Wonderful

A very good traditional tearoom. Well made sandwiches, luxurious cake's and a very good pot of tea. All reasonably priced. Well worth picking this "Buttercup".

We called in to this little but lovely cafe after being really disappointed at the pub across the road. Visiting Cromer, I was determined to try the famous Cromer crab, and can now say that I am so glad that the pub let us down! Both my husband (with trepidation ) and I ordered a cappuccino and Cromer crab sandwich... More

We popped in to get a quick bite to eat and was instantly greeted and shown to our table. The staff were very friendly but we found the front part of the cafe was quite small and as my partner is partially disabled he struggled a little with manoeuvring around tables and people. There wasn't much room at all. We... More

When ever we go to Cromer we always pop into this lovely cafe as everyone is so friendly and they also welcome the dog. As usual the food was great and really reasonably priced. We had crab sandwiches, lattes and a piece of the extremely yummy victoria sandwich cake.
