Lovely little cafe

Really nice welcoming café that serves ace coffee and cakes. Made to feel very comfortable by the staff.

Staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves and serving friends/partner who were in at the time which didnt affect our service but was not so good for the people who followed us in. Would try again though as this didnt... More

I always visit Huckleberries, it's perfect for a quiet lunch with friends, couples or family. The food is lovely and I especially like the thick shakes. Love the underground seating. Service is very slow, so that means standing around waiting. My boyfriend had a jacket potato the other week and it tasted a bit funny. Sometimes I have witnessed/had a... More

Love the cakes and proper tea pot! Amazing brownies! Shame it is so cramped and small. Needs a lick of paint inside to smarten up but friendly staff made up for it.

Four of us popped in for a coffee here on Friday afternoon about 3pm. Our first visit despite living quite locally. I wish we hadn't bothered. On entering I was immediately put off by the filthy state of the cake cabinet. I know that cakes will crumble a bit when served, but this looked like it hadn't had a good... More

Found this place on a very wet lunch-time. Managed to get a table by the door. Very busy with both locals and tourists. Ordered tea, toasted sandwich and victoria sponge cake. All very good. Service was quick and efficient.

Wasn't greeted when i came through the door..Penny was immediately uneasy. Service was slow as only 2 members of staff were working and seemed more interested in talking to each other than acknowledging Penny. I ordered a chocolate crispy cake which was far too sweet for my liking and was lacking in moisture, and a mocha which was average but... More
