First visit to Boltons Bistro, Cromer

We had dinner for two at Boltons Bistro last night and although we live locally this was out first visit and it will not be our last. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. I had the half duck which was the best I have ever had. Ambience was very good but to be... read more

We had high hopes for our lunch at Bolton’s Bistro after reading TA reviews but we found the food very mediocre. The ambiance and service was what we would expect from a nice, traditional seaside hotel but the food was typical ‘coach party fayre’. If that is what you like give it a go but personally I like something better... More

There could be a new saying: 'life is not worth a penny if you go to Cromer and don't try a crab'. This line has been going through my head ever since I stepped into the cold waters of Cromer beach this Easter holiday weekend. Finding Bolton's Bistro on Runton Road on a rainy evening was getting close to luck.... More

We have been going to this restaurant for many years with friends and relatives and everyone is always very impressed. Recently refurbished to add extra flare. We know the proprietors well now and they always look after very well as returning customers who usually come here about twice a year.

I indulged in the treacle and lemon tart as a sweet which was yummy!!! I really enjoyed the meal oh and the wine! The bistro itself is... More

I have very precise dietary requirements for medical reasons and this normally makes eating out a nightmare with bland food due to a complete lack of imagination from the chief. The Bolton bistro was extremely helpful and produced a lovely meal that met my needs and was realy tasty. Thanks
