We went here last month for the first time as we had family down in the area and really enjoyed our visit. We were looked after very well by all the staff and were very impressed with the standard of food. As this restaurant boasts that it is a quality seafood place i had the lobster and crab thermidor dish... More

We visited Boltons last night. It Is situated within the Cliftonville hotel, which is a fine example of a Edwardian seaside hotel. The restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was the star though! They have a wide range of dishes including daily specials, the portions are really generous so be nice... More

Fabulous, helpful staff. Called in at last minute on a Saturday night, peak holiday time. they couldn't have been more amenable. Tasty food, maybe too much of it, but overall good time had by all!

Delicious food; quite pricey but good for a treat. Apparently there have been some changes recently and the restaurant has revised some of its services. Very good meal.

Booked as good review from "Tripadvisor" No sea view as such. Restaurant scruffy. Chairs need to be replaced. Decore poor. Staff good, but again scruffy. Crab good, veg adverage. Price ok.

I assume that the reason that the Trip Advisor ranking of this restaurant is not in the first few places is more of a reflection of the profile of contributors of TA than of the restaurant itself. This is probably the best place to eat in Cromer; I say probably as there is one place that I didn't try. For... More

The main meals were very nice but had better. Main moans were the price of the wine and something which I considered a bit of a cheap con - when the manager had taken our order he asked if we would like bread & balsamic, nice touch I thought but it appeared on the bill at nearly £5, really took... We have been here a few times and had an adequate dining experience. The food is good, but don't expect fine dining. As bistros go its about par for the course.
