Good value and very tasty

Went for late dinner on our night off(we work in the catering/hospitality trade)and even though they were really busy, and we hadn't booked,we were promptly seated, and our order taken. I ordered off menu,as the vegetarian options for mains were slightly limited with just vegetable curries;& I wanted... read more

Visited on a busy Friday evening. They we're great at getting us a table - even though we hadn't booked. The food was really tasty and freshly cooked however we had to wait ages for drinks order then food order. We only had a main meal which took 1.5hours from start to finish. There were several other tables served in... More

Spent a great night on Friday with our children and there partners. We have been visiting this restaurant for over 25 years and it has been consistently excellent . Great food at very competitor prices. The service from the Bobby and his team is exceptional !!! Thoroughly recommend.

Been there twice now as we search for a new local Indian Restaurant following our move to the area...what can I say ? - It isn't awful but it it is very difficult to get excited about any element of it. We were with a vegetarian the 1st time we went and she described her cheese based meal as quite... More

Been here many times over the years and have never been disappointed in the food served. Staff are always friendly and service is good. Can get very busy at weekends so would recommend booking ahead.

We came to dine here on a Saturday evening with my brother and sister in law who are regular visitors. We were told it was a basic restaurant with really good food at reasonable prices which is exactly what it was. Unfortunately for us when we arrived for our 8.15 booking the place was heaving, guests queuing out the door.... More

I went here with my wife and in laws. Very pleasant place with ample parking across the road. I had chicken tikka to start. We got the usual poppadoms and sauces which were very tasty. My wife had onion Bhaji's which were tasty and we'll cooked and not at all greasy. I have a chicken dhansak with chips and a... More

My husband and I have been visiting The Gandhi over a period of about 8 years, they always cook the best, most authentic curries anyway around this area. Bedford curry houses we have found all provide over sweet, processed curries which are quick to make and taste horrid . The staff at The Gandhi are always helpful and knowledgeable. The... More

Our first time here but went with regulars. Had a super table tucked away in a quiet corner. Crispy papadoms with tasty onions followed by lamb samosas and king prawn puree both very good. Main of chicken sag walla and chicken jalfrezi both good. Unusual jalfrezi with no visible chillies but had plenty of heat and really tasty. Also excellent... More

Nice rest, with friendly staff. Very romantic cosy setting, owner on hand and will chat to everyone making us feel welcome. Although portions small the food is good
