Had one meal in there and was awful, no atmosphere, just like sitting in a greasy spoon cafe, no wonder it has closed down.
I agree with other reviewers in that the food is incredibly good, tasty, fresh and full of flavour. The decor however is decidedly functional rather than your standard restaurant. If your lucky enough to live local then you can get takeaway, in which case I'd definitely be ordering! If you put food first this is decidedly the best place to... More
The food here is very nice, and the recent addition of a take away service is good, although not very well advertised. The building itself is tiny, and can probably seat around 20 people at a push. This doesn't detract from the food, but it's not the fine dining experience some people prefer. But, if you like Vietnamese, try this.
Was an excellent place to eat, unfortunately some people had the habit of going out part way thru the meal to get more wine to drink all night and block the tables, the staff being asian could not bring themselves to ask them to vacate the tables and so they were not making enough money to justify staying open
Notice on door - closed for 3 weeks! And unfortunately no reopen on the Cthulhu of July - what a shame I hope it opens up again! Best food for miles.
It's a sad day for Sandy, the Saigon Pho has closed. In my opinion, the best place to eat that the town has ever had! Thanks Hue and the staff; it's been great. Perhaps it won't be goodbye, just au revoir...........
We visited this restaurant just the other day. The staff was friendly. While the location is definitely a "hole in the wall" I enjoyed everything I ordered. The chef was able to accomodate my dietary needs, and everything was fresh! The location was alright, and there was parking outside for 1 hour only, so we ate fast! We enjoyed the... More
First off, the name of this place is called Saigon Pho and their pho is not good at all! I am not one to talk bad about people and am willing to suck it up but the noodles were wrong, the soup was watery, and everything was skimpy. The five of us went and all ordered the same thing and... More
Vietnamese cuisine- amazing. So fresh and crisp and full of flavour. A real gem tucked away in the heart of Sandy. Maddeningly cheap too. Open for lunch and dinner, eat in or take away.
We opened the door to an empty white tiled rectangular room, asked if they had a table for two, which they did, then went off to purchase a bottle of wine from a supermarket across the road . Its a rather odd place to describe, its literally a rectangular room fully tiled in white. Tables and chairs are functional and... More
