Excellent value

We visited twice during our 2 weeks in Javea and had good service and good food on both occasions. We were happy to go al a carte, but found dishes we liked on the set menu, which at 12 Euros is unbelievably good value for money, as it includes bread to start, water and coffee, as well as 3... read more

Visited here for dinner at 19.30 pm. We were seated very quickly inside and had a menu bought to us within 5 minutes. We ordered a drink before we decided on what we were having. We decided on salads to start, then I had filleted fish in a cream sauce, and my husband had lamb chops, both meals were delicious.... More

Just been to Los Almendros for Sunday lunch no need to go al a carte as menu of the day is unbeatable with so much choice and delicious well presented meals the service is second to none and with a suburb air conditioned reastaurant you could not ask for more. Looking forward already for a return visit! Well done !!

This will seem strange having read some of the other June reviews! We stopped going to this restaurant for the last 3/4 years as the standards had dropped considerably, however, we went with some friends as it was their choice and were very pleasantly surprised. It really seemed to be back to its old ways which are excellent food and... More

Despite the fact there was no one around to welcome us to our reserved table the rest of the night was excellent, as always ! The restaurant was busy due to the Fiestas but the service was still good and the lamb was the best we have had anywhere ,locally! They also serve half bottles of wine which is great... More

we visit most months, have done for years, and have rated Almendros warmly, sadly their reputation is presently seriously at risk, and we hope management will read this as well as potential visitors. a full house needs organisation, and competent staff, even if the kitchen is efficient it is the front of house that is vital if customers are to... We have been going to Los Almendros for 15 years and had the worst meal ever tonight! The service was appalling - maybe not the fault of the 3 (new) waiting staff - the hold-up seemed to come from the kitchen. We had a 7.30pm reservation, arrived 'fashionably late' at 7.37pm to find most tables on the terrace occupied, we... More

My family had visited this lovely looking restaurant last year and we made a point of visiting it again. I'm afraid it was very disappointing. The service was appalling and the food mediocre. The waitresses struggled to smile , they failed to remember what we ordered or got our meals completely wrong. They constantly had to ask what we were... More

Having visited this restaurant many times before, we were so disappointed on our last visit in May. Our family joined us for dinner, table of four, the men chose the same meal, the ladies, the same meal, but different to the choice that the men chose. All was fine, until a day later when my boyfriend was taken ill, for... More

This restaurant has an extensive 3 course set menu for a modest price, including bread, half a bottle of wine and coffee. The menu is available at both lunchtime and in the evening. The quality of the food is excellent, the service is good and the tables are nicely laid with a table cloth. There is plenty of free parking... More
