We visited with two children under 11. Food was fine for what we paid- let's face it you wouldn't get a meal like that in the UK for twice the price! Proper linen, lovely environment, but no welcome, not even a smile or a 'just a minute' on arrival despite staff walking back and fore. You start to feel awkward... More

Sitting under the Montgo lies this pretty restaurant in a nice location. The set menu is 14.75 Euros including 3 courses a bottle of wine coffee and bread. The service is ok,and the food is average but what do you expect at that price. It is always busy and full of all nationalities which is pleasant.I suggest the fish courses are probably the... Visited last night for the second time this month and everyone enjoyed their meal as usual. Very hard to beat for the menu choice and price which includes 3 courses, fresh bread and alioli (and peas!), mini soup taster and coffee as well, all for under 15€ per person, in a beautiful restaurant with lovely views.

Visited here last night with 2 friends but never again!!! The service was very poor as was the "thawed" frozen small prawns (gambas prawn cocktail), very watery and tasteless, the lamb special was fatty and tough, the crema catalana desert was partially caramalised mixed with skin from the custard. - shocking!!! We have lived locally for 11 years and never... More

worth the half-hour drive to visit, and we always drive-by missing the entrance. a sign on the road would be appreciated; this is our only complaint, not bad tho. everything else gets a good score. not least real napkins. always with a group of friends or family, the menu covers a wide range of choices, with daily specials, the avocado... Went for Sunday lunch here with family. Waited half hour between finishes courses, had to stack the plates at the end of the table and still no one took them away. Complained to the manager about the poor service, he told us he needed to cut back on expenses and if we didn´t like it to go somewhere else. The... More

We first visited this restaurant in 1982 and in those days the food was tasty and the service was friendly and at least welcoming. As the years have gone by both have got steadily worse but despite this we kept going back in the hope that they had found a chef who could actually cook using fresh sauces. We tried... More
