Worth the trip to Spain

Wonderful meal, excellent service, i cannot praise the resturant enough, my son had the Galician? Steak, he had this meal last year and has talked of it ever since, we went twice this holiday and we were not let down. Wonderful food you must go.

Have eaten here regularly and have never had a bad meal. We always eat off the "Menu del Noche" as it is great value, the price determined by the main course you choose, which generally is the T-bone steak for us, but you get three courses plus a consommé and sorbet. The meat is of the highest quality and we'd... More

went to this place recently,my first time here, have to say was very impressed, had homemade meatballs to start, followed by the T-bone steak, which was cooked to perfection, service was excellent, considering the place was packed to the rafters,(always a good sign,)this was followed by a cheesecake dessert, came out feeling rather stuffed, would I go again, you bet I would.

7 of us went on a family outing. Great steak and service. A bit more expensive than your usual Javea fare, but the food is a level up too. Fairly hot inside so may want to think twice about it before heading in the middle of summer. Would recommend and I will be going back.

The restaurant is siuated on the Jesus Pobre road and has ample parking to the front. During the summer the sheltered gardens are used extensively both during the afternoon and evening. On entering the restaurant the only and I do mean, the only downside is the restaurant is slightly dark. It needs more illumination and that is the only downside.... More

The five course lunch is excellent and well worth the money.Whilst most of the tables have some shade the eating area is surrounded by walls and shrubs and it can get very hot if their is no breeze. It is always better to book your table if you get the opportunity.

A nice place, great surroundings with real fires for a winters night. Friendly staff and good service. The food was excellent I had the fillet steak and it is probably the best steak I have ever had, it simply melted in my mouth and was cooked to perfection. All the food was good but the steak stood out as perfect.

We visited this lovely eatery whilst staying with friends in Javea. We came here years ago and enjoyed it but apparently it declined a bit, so they changed owner, refurbed and its really nice inside. The food was lovely with a small bowl of soup as a complimentary starter, I am vegetarian and had the grilled veg dish delightful they... More

Visited El Gaucho with Argentine family numerous times last year. We all thought that the food was outstanding. The set menu is a great deal and you always somehow manage to fit in pudding despite the enormous steaks. This is definitely somewhere we will visit time and time again.

We were passing and the place didn't look open, so I called and they welcomed us in, although without a booking, we just struck lucky and sat upstairs overlooking the action. The barbecue sent delicious smells upstairs and the menu was good value, tasty and well served. the bar is laid out with saddles for seats and it's a great... More
