Came on holiday with family to Javea and this restaurant is only a few minutes walk from the house in which we stayed. We were a little dubious, but after visiting twice we can't praise this restaurant enough. Superb, friendly service from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. We all chose from the daily dinner menu and... More

The service was very good, the food fantastic and all at good prices. A short drive out of the town but well worth the visit.

Yesterday I had my birthday lunch with friends at this restaurant. There is a good menu to choose from, and prices are according to your choice of main course. There is a good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, and prices range from €17 to €22 per head. This includes wine and bread with a chimy churi sauce. I... More

Yesterday it was my best friends 60th birthday and he flew over to be with us for the occasion. We live here all the time, and he wanted the best steaks in town. He is a lawyer and travels the world, so where does he come for the best steaks.. 'El Gaucho' (The Cowboy).. not Texas. we had a mixture... More

The courtyard setting with a view of the Montgo is very pleasant, and the wood fired fillet steak was delicious, however, the rest of the food was pretty average. I also thought the staff seemed a bit disinterested. They stood in the dining area giggling amongst themselves, it seemed there was no one in charge of front of house. Felt... More

We had dinner here with friends and it was a most enjoyable evening: a lovely meal in a delightful setting, with friendly and professional (attentive but not incessant) service. The "set menu" includes good choices for starter, main course and dessert, plus you get bread roll, soup (bouillon) as a pre-starter and a sorbet before the main course. The house... More

One of the locals recommended this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us and the atmosphere was superb. The courtyard setting was lovely and the steaks were fantastic - really melted in the mouth. Had a really great night and will definately go back when we are next in Javier.

We went here with relatives and were very well received. Staff were sociable and very friendly, and couldn't do enough for us. Atmosphere and decor was superb and really lovely. Steak was second to none and melted in the mouth. Baileys measures were like buckets!!!
