Good traditional Spanish restaurant

Unlike some Spanish restaurants this one does not increase the price on Sundays or feast days. On a summers day sitting outside on the terrace is a pleasant experience and they also have a large internal dining area. This can be a little noisy when it is full of people eating. After visiting here on many previous occasions and having good meals & service to say we were disappointed was a understatement. When we arrived there were only 3 other tables occupied, it took ages for us to get a drink and even longer to place our order, we could only see 2 waters on duty back not being busy we... More

Have driven past this restaurant on our way home so many times but never ventured inside until tonight. A lovely place to sit and eat with mouth watering food and friendly staff. Good value for money. I highly recommend a visit.

Good Spanish restaurant. Located a bit away from civilization. But if you still find this place there is a chance you can sit in the garden and get inexpensive and tasty meal. There we have celebrating a birthday, came inexpensive and quite good, all guests were satisfied. Took different dishes - tapas, rice, meat. Everything was delicious. Service - OK.... More

This has to be the best value-for-money restaurant anywhere . . Just had an excellent lunch - three courses plus copious wine and liqueurs + pn y alioli (bagette and garlic mayonnaise). €15 per head. Cheaper than staying at home. Now ready for a nod safe in the knowledge that no vampires will be coming anywhere near me.

Taken to this lovely restaurant by a couple of relatives who've lived near Denia for some years but who keep a relatively short list of "preferred" establishments in the region. We went for an evening meal out of the main season (October). We sat inside , as it was a bit cool, but could see that the garden tables would... More

We returned to the Punta Benimaquia last week after a break of a couple of years. Although we did have a lovely Sunday lunch outside in the summer a couple of years ago, we thought the place had improved generally. The staff were very welcoming and in these colder months in the evening, the place is cozy and inviting. The... More

The restaurant was full on a Sunday lunchtime in November and most of the diners were Spanish so you can tell this is a good restaurant. Good choice on the menu del dia and at 11.95 it offers great value for money. Unlike many Spanish restaurants the price is the same every day. The pate starter is very good as... More

Eating outside in the lovely garden is very pleasant and shady. The food is of a high standard. I would recommend Sunday lunch although as it can be very busy it is essential to book. Occasionally the service can be a bit slow at the height of the lunch service so don't go if you like to eat quickly and... More
