Have visited this restaurant on many occasions in the past and never been disappointed. Food excellent, service good, yes it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Booking in summer months essential - try to get a table on the terrace.

Visited for lunch, we were lucky to get a table as the majority of tables were reserved. The food was lovely, the fish particularly excellent. The restaurant was very busy and the service slightly slow as a result, but the position of the restaurant (with the beach one side and the sandstone erosions the other) made up for the wait.... Really enjoyed our experience. Lovely relaxed environment. Very good sea food. We sat out side on a warm evening. Sound of the waves on the beach, view of the famous sand cliffs of Bolnuevo. Good service, lovely bottle of white wine. One of the better places to eat in the area. We will be back.

We arrived at la Siesta for our 47th anniversary as we wanted a nice romantically placed restaurant whilst visiting the bolnuevo campsite in our motorhome.it was supposed to have a great name although one or two people told us it was living on past reputation . It proved to be true I'm afraid. The staff were very friendly but at... More

We usually take our visitors to La Siesta in Bolnuevo as a special treat. This time the experience was disappointing. The number of guests was low, and the food was average. there were a few 'mossie' type flies around, but the real problem was the average food and the higher than average prices. I don't think we will go back.

This restaurant situated on the picturesque beach at Bolneuvo has a big reputation in the area but was somewhat of a let down on the evening of our visit. We had specifically reserved a particular table as friends were visiting from the UK, but on our arrival this was not available due to a larger Spanish party taking preference, not... More

I don't understand all the good reviews here. This is one of the more expensive restaurants in the region (although still cheap compared with other regions), so our expectations were high. They have two stickers from tripadvisor on the entrance door. We went there on last week on an evening, 3 tables were occupied (all English). When they poured the... More

Having lived in Spain for 12 years I can honestly say the Serrano ham is the best we've ever had. I had the Ox entrecôte for the main, it was very tasty, but very very fatty, my wife had Sea Bass, which was very good, and the service was also good. Would go back.
