This is the most fab restaurant and spanish right in the beach. The staff are great. Just a treat to visit more than once on each trip.

This restaurant is a must visit restaurant if you are in the area. We have been here on two occasions and have not been disappointed. I recommend the fish menu, good quality produce and cooked to perfection. Some of the starters are very large so I would suggest sharing (in our case we shared two between four). They also have... Just about the best place in Bolnuevo. The menu makes a point to say they only serve fresh, never frozen fish, and the quality shows. I had a delicious, tangy swordfish steak (they gave me three actually! ) Mrs Harry had a mixed meat kebab (she's from Rotherham) which was crispy and tasty. They gave us some seriously garlicky salsa... More

If you want a wonderful steak - this is the place to go. Not cheap but worth it. Wonderful location as you can hear the sea. Most of the waiters speak (some) English, but appreciate you trying your Spanish. The Sea food is also pretty good and they always provide nibbles before your meal arrives with a really wicked sauce... More

We had a table for four on the terrace, which is really wonderful. The food is top notch, taisty and interesting inventive combinations. The terrace got a little crowded which meant that the staff had to squeeze by your table / seat with customers orders, you don't need to be constantly bumped when having your meal. That was disappointing. Fairly... More

Have visited this restaurant on many occasions in the past and never been disappointed. Food excellent, service good, yes it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Booking in summer months essential - try to get a table on the terrace.

Visited for lunch, we were lucky to get a table as the majority of tables were reserved. The food was lovely, the fish particularly excellent. The restaurant was very busy and the service slightly slow as a result, but the position of the restaurant (with the beach one side and the sandstone erosions the other) made up for the wait.... Really enjoyed our experience. Lovely relaxed environment. Very good sea food. We sat out side on a warm evening. Sound of the waves on the beach, view of the famous sand cliffs of Bolnuevo. Good service, lovely bottle of white wine. One of the better places to eat in the area. We will be back.

We arrived at la Siesta for our 47th anniversary as we wanted a nice romantically placed restaurant whilst visiting the bolnuevo campsite in our motorhome.it was supposed to have a great name although one or two people told us it was living on past reputation . It proved to be true I'm afraid. The staff were very friendly but at... More
