Good Food and Beer

This is a regular stop for us when we are in downtown Frederick. Try the Brewer's Bibimbap, which is a Spicy Korean Pork rice bowl served with sesame bean sprouts, pickled carrots and cucumbers with asparagus served over steamed rice with fried farm egg. On a visit to Maryland, a number of classmates decided to go to Brewer's Alley for dinner. There was a group of 14 of us, and we were smart (lucky) to reserve tables. This place was busy when we arrived, and packed in as we ate (on a Thursday night). Almost everyone at the table ordered the Steak and Lobster... More

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a beer and an appetizer. We were way more interested in the beer menu than the food, however the nachos were the best part! The beers were good too, we got the Kolsch and Hefe on draft and we enjoyed them both very much. We will definitely come back to try other... More

We did not have any beer so I cannot comment on that. The four different food items were average to below. Turkey burger was over cooked. Pulled pork sandwich was OK. My grandson enjoyed his individual Aloha pizza. They seem to be heavy handed with the jalapeño. The guacamole on the charred turkey burger was really spicy. The original burger... More

While in Frederick, Maryland, the weekend of August 1st, 2015, we stopped into this fantastic historical restaurant. This restaurant was once another building from back in the early days of history, which you can see when you walk in and see the brick walls and the elevator in the front lobby. There are some photos up on the walls, all... More

We did the sampler rack of beer as it gives you 6 kinds to taste.

Stopped in on a Sunday night. Got seated immediately for party of two. Large menu and specials. Tried a small margherita pizza and jalapeño stuffed peppers and both were good. Good beer selection too. Lots of great seafood selections but will come back another time to try them. Ready to get to from parking lot couple blocks down from there... More

My two sisters and I stopped by for lunch. We had a very "enthusiastic" young man as a waiter who tried hard to be helpful. They have a large food and drink menu and a broad selection as well as daily specials. One sister got the pizza, which was quite tasty, but the crust was not done. My other sister... More

We came here from a recommendation from our raft guide. The food was excellent. They had a lot of unique pizzas that were great. The burgers were the best that we had. I highly recommend the blueberry beer. It is not sweet, but tastes great. The restaurant is located on a very walkable and interesting Main Street filled with shops... More

Had appetizers and entrees and nothing was outstanding. The beer was decent but not spectacular. I would rank this a very slight notch above the chain restaurants in the area.
