Never fails to please

I have a lot of pickey eaters in my life. Some are even gluten free. Brewer's Alley is one place I know we can all find something for everyone. The beer is good and the staff is great. I love the oysters. The restaurant makes all of us happy.

Stopped in here kind of by default since our first choice was closed (Monday) - seated by a kind of unfriendly hostess. Table was sticky. Two big parties nearby. Beer served warm which when we commented on we were told that it's due to the place being a brewery and the beer is in casks??? Oh well, the wine also... More

Great market street location ... outdoor dining ... reasonable prices for the area ... good pub-type food. What's not to like?

This is a brewery so it is probably asking too much for them to have a wine selection too. Their appetizers are comfort food and not that appealing overall. We had the calamari rings -they were on the tough side.

This place was a great stop for us. We got there at 5 so we could get a table (outside was an hour wait). Waitress very friendly and knew her beers. Since we had eaten buffet at lunch, we shared a burger. They cut it in half and served two plates with huge piles of fries. Burger was perfect, and... More

On a Saturday night, this place was packed, primarily with locals. We had a big lunch and were looking for something light and a brew or two. We ordered a burger to share, and it was excellent, as well as a flight of their craft brews, and they ranged from average to very good. If we are ever in Frederick... More

Wow, had a great meal at Brewer's Alley last night. Stopped by after shopping in downtown. Sat outside in the back with excellent server, Tony. Had a glass of their Wedding Alt beer. Really excellent. We had the Salmon Florentine which was stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese on a bed of fingerling potatoes and spinach with hollandaise. I was... More

We enjoyed several items from the regular dinner menu along with three beers, in the bar, where you seat yourself. At first, the hostess brought us to the back of the house (which I hate) and I asked to be re-seated "up front". She explained that the bar has open seating, first come first served. It was very early (5ish),... More

I've been to Brewers many times and I've never had a bad meal. Good beer on tap and efficient service. Prices are pretty decent too. If you have a chance, sit out on the patio in good weather and people watch. I've also been here for a rehearsal dinner and that was a good experience - the food was excellent... More

There were 6 of us that stopped in for dinner after the Frederick Marble Show. Brewer's Alley is right on the main drag in downtown Frederick. We found easy on the street parking, but there are garages nearby for when things get busy. We were seated promptly and had an excellent server. There are many beer choices, so everyone was... More
