Nice experience

Very elegant, upscale dining experience. I have been there twice, enjoyed it because of the company and occasion. Not impressed with the service or the food preparation considering the prices. I have been to Dutch's Daughter many times and typically the food is good, the wine is poured liberally and the prices are not for the faint of heart $ 44 for a ribeye. The seafood is excellent but I prefer steak. My wife wanted crab cakes and we had the dog with us and I told her they have... More

The food was great, but the price was a bit high for us. The cream of crab soup was an absolute show stopper. I would can that and sell it by the gallon if I could. The service was very good. Its a higher end place, but not so much that you don't feel comfortable.

My companion from the Eastern Shore called the crab dip the best she had ever had. My berry cobbler was tops. Good service. But you pay for it.

We were driving through Frederick and decided to see what restaurants might be available. Google said Dutch's Daughter (funny name great food) had seafood. So, we decided to give it a try. We had the crab imperial and it was outstanding, service was quick and friendly, and the surroundings were elegant and interesting. The food is not cheap however, you... More

All you need to know is that it was worth the 45 minute drive from Gettysburg just for the 2 huge lump crab cakes for dinner. I had been recommended this place by a former co-worker and it is all it was cracked up to be!

I've eaten at Dutch's Daughter a few times and I can say the food is consistently prepared well and tastes amazing. I ordered the 9 oz. filet twice and the meat was one of the most tender cuts of meat I have ever had both times. The crab cakes are good and there are a lot of other seafood options... More

We had a large party here for family that was in town for a wedding and I have to say that the food was incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and before we sat down they were offering to get us drinks to get started. Once we sat down were were served warm bread and butter. One choice of butter... More

We visited on a whim to celebrate our anniversary and enjoyed a quiet evening with great food! The prime rib was perfectly seasoned and the crab cakes were amazing! Meal was a little pricey but the food was first class!

My parents treated my wife and me to an annual dinner out for my birthday and talked me into, for a second time, going to Dutch's Daughter. My previous visit left me unimpressed and regretful that, even though they enjoyed the food, they had to pay so much for what we were served. This time was better even though we... More
