Tried this restaurant today. Set in an old building preserved with lots of character. Great old fashioned wood bar dominates the room. Very good ambiance, and the servers are quite attentive. But the food blows you away -- excellent! Try the dates wrapped in bacon and drizzled with goat cheese crème. MMMMmmm. And the deep friend asparagus served with aioli... More

Between the excellent alcohol pairings, the delicious food, the ambiance, and the live music... this place is a must visit. Our waiter was fabulous, food was delivered at a fantastic pace to both eat an be social. Overall, an amazing visit.

I made a deal never to eat in the same place for this year but to try all the local cuisine. I had never been here but had tried a few suggestion from the staff. The fried asparagus and shrimp chilled soup (can't remember the name) but overall not bad. This bar however definitely needs to be a stop for... More

I rate tapas as one of funnest dining experiences you can try. put an order in & in a few minutes munching away in culinary heaven. Server & table runners were tremendous, ice tea was fresh & refreshing. Never knew deep fried asparagus was that good. Just a delightful experience

We had dinner here many times and our last meal was good as always. The paella is very good and is a large serving. Finally, the red sangria is always good here. Enjoy!

Isabella's came highly recommended by a co worker of mine. I just moved to Frederick and am trying as many restaurants as I can. I dined on a Wednesday night and walked in at about 9:15. There was only a handful of patrons remaining. I sat at the bar as I always do when dining alone and was the only... More

We ate here for lunch on a weekday after walking by and seeing some people eating the asparagus fries out on the sidewalk tables. These are served in a champagne glass with the alioli sauce in the bottom. Great presentation. We enjoyed the special of 3 tapas for $10.99 (?). We enjoy tapas at restaurants as it gives us a... My husband and I were looking forward to Isabella's tonight and ordered several different tapas. Their "fried asparagus" was touted as a signature dish and came out flavorless with a gummy crust and no seasoning. They offered to bring us a new order but we decided to wait for our other dishes instead. We ordered a skirt steak entree that... More
