Found this place on trip advisor and decided to give it a go for a weekend family outing. My husband described the atmosphere as "if Trader Joe's were a restaurant", and that's a pretty accurate assessment. The kids' meals can't be beat, $3.25 for a giant plate of food, a bottle of juice and a cookie. The portions in general... More

We found out about this restaurant from reviews and were impressed. It's very affordable, has great food and a good selection. Two of the best items on the menu are only available after 4pm though. Check out the unbeatable beer and wine shop adjoining the restaurant.

We tried this place based upon reviews. We found the food to be good, and the concept fun but the flow seemed awkward. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. If you have not been, read the menu online first because the one they have hanging has long descriptions and it can be overwhelming. Would try it again.... More

My wife and I were looking for a good sandwich in Frederick on a Friday afternoon. After reviewing the Tripadvisor listings, we decided to try Friscos. This was our 1st visit and we didn't know what to expect. We found a converted warehouse in an industrial park. It's not big on atmosphere but that's not what it's about. There is... More

Love this place! The food is fantastic, slightly but you get a good product. Owner always walks around and talks to you. Great place!

We stopped here on the way home from Flying Dog Brewery. The location is within a cinder block structure at an industrial park. Inside...more cinder block. The set-up is a bit unusual. Instead of a kitchen in the back, they also have a center island type of prep station where you place your order as you enter. They immediately offer... More

If you've never heard of this place before, odds are you will never even find it as its well hidden in an industrial warehouse type area south of Frederick in Ballenger Creek, MD. Really, there's no other dining choices around, and unless you're renting a storage unit or possibly taking someone to gymnastics training, you're not likely to cross paths.... More

We just had the pleasure of trying this fabulous hidden gem, and I am so glad that we ventured off of the beaten path. From the moment that we walked in, we loved the whole vibe of this restaurant. The staff was welcoming and helpful (they handed us samples of the not to be missed exploded potatoes, who wouldn't love... More

I've been there twice now and have been happy both times. The staff is very friendly and the food is pretty good. The exploded potato side is a must have. I've tried the Lombard and the Santa Fe and both were very tasty and generous portions. I'll be going back again. The only down side is they close at 7... More
