Had lunch here today for the first time after seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor...so very glad we did. We split the Santa Fe loaded potato and we still had a small amount of food left over, although I would venture to say a lot of people could eat a whole one. We eyed some of the other food coming... We love Friscos. Have been going there for years. It's not your normal restaurant and that's what we love about them. Any type of baked potato you can imagine, great sandwiches and everything made to order. They do have different hours, but other than that, they are great.

It's a little hard to find because it's in a light industrial area with a lot of buildings. I've known about it for years but never been there for a meal. Get the twice baked potatoes. You could make a meal just from them. I also got a bowl of soup. It was the special of the day. Some sort... More

Finally tried Friscos, en route to the Flying Dog brewery (across the street). Clever use of old warehouse space; neat setup although I didn't quite feel at the beach or in San Francisco. Delicious meaty sandwich with plenty of cripsy fresh sprouts and very tasty smashed potatoes. They also have a nice sampling of beers, including Flying Dog offerings. Worth... More

To start off, you HAVE to order the potatoes. Do not order them to go, as they aren't as good when they're cold (But I would still go to town if they were cold). Sit down, and enjoy every bite of these bad boys. I've tried to duplicate them at home, didn't work. What they do? I have no clue,... More

If we offer to bring a dish for a party the exploding potatoes are always a hit, (and usually the first empty container). I've had sandwiches there also very good, can't find this food anywhere else. Friskos is a great informal spot for a quick bite.

Decided to try this restaurant based on the positive Trip Advisor reviews... and we are certainly glad we drove the few extra miles off the main highway to find this place tucked away in an industrial area. They have a large menu of unique sandwiches, salads, grilled foods, potatoes, and soups. Food was all great (although be prepare if you... More

LOVE their food! One of these days I will figure out how to make their exploded baked potatoes. They're awesome. The chicken is good. The barbecue is good and the steak is super good. And don't miss their Oreo chocolate chip cookies.

Just an overall friendly place to eat. You must try their "exploding potatoes". They are to die for!

Found this place on trip advisor and decided to give it a go for a weekend family outing. My husband described the atmosphere as "if Trader Joe's were a restaurant", and that's a pretty accurate assessment. The kids' meals can't be beat, $3.25 for a giant plate of food, a bottle of juice and a cookie. The portions in general... More
