We went on a Wednesday evening, no wait. Staff was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and attentive. They did warn us that weekends are much busier. Dinner and dessert was wonderful! Cozy atmosphere. Absolutely will return!!

From outside, this restaurant has always had a sort of cozy appeal to it, especially in the wintry snowy months. It's festive looking and makes me think of a cottage in some small European village. However, inside is another story. Everything seemed to make the place feel so old and outdated. Even the customers inside were all elderly until the... More

Great evening meal was enjoyed by our party. It was our first visit and won't be the last! We were treated wery well by the wait staff and the all the entries were very tasty. The Eclairs were to die for!

We decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing it while driving by on previous occasions. We made a reservation for dinner on a weekend evening. The restaurant is very busy and we still had to wait quite a bit before being seated. The dining room is relatively small and tables are fairly close together. The noise level also... More

This is the best restaurant in Frederick. I have been dining here for years and have never had a bad meal. My favorite is the chicken livers, but the reuben sandwiches, the oysters, the meat loaf, the fish and the roast duckling special are also wonderful! The specials change with the season, and they are always great! All of the... More

Three friends ordered three different entrees - grilled/mable glazed salmon, pot roast, and fried liver - all left satisfied and happy. The restaurant is free-standing an older building. The dining room is not large, but has an ample number of tables. Wait staff are dressed in traditional German/Bavarian uniforms. Beverages arrive promptly with a hot yeast roll and cranberry muffin.... More

I drove by the Restaurant so many times and always wanted to step in for lunch or dinner. Today I met with my friends (from Hagerstown and Waynesboro/PA) at the Gladchuk Brothers Restaurant on West Patrick St in Frederick/MD for lunch to celebrate our little Christmas party. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. This was for sure... More

One always hears that, for a restaurant to be a success, the owner should be almost always on site. This is more than true of Gladchuk Bros. in Frederick, Md. just off Route 15. At least one brother is always on duty as host or chef or business manager. This pays off in one of the finest establishments in the... More

Last week we drove to Frederick, Maryland for a predictably good meal at Gladchuk Brothers. It was about an hours drive but always worth it. We go here when we want great home cooking in a comfortable atmosphere. John, one of the owners is one of the best aspects. He always greets people as if they are family or good... More
