Authentic middle eastern food; Turkish influence. Appetizers, small plates were wonderfully prepared - tasty, nice presentation. We ordered four small plates for two of us and we devoured every morsel. This time, we ordered only vegetarian dishes. Our challenge next time evil be to decide what to try next--- or repeat what we already enjoyed.

My friend and I decided to give this restaurant a try during a day of shopping in downtown Frederick. What a find! The room is lovely and the service was outstanding. But the food!!! The small plates were perfectly portioned so that we could taste and enjoy four different selections. Each was delicious, with interesting, complex flavors. Our only "complaint"... More

Recently visited a second time and enjoyed even more than the first. Very pretty room, excellent choices and so many of them. This time the service was really good, the first time very slow. I would love to return in spring to sit outside on the patio. There were six of us and we each ordered two dishes and had... More

Thanks go to my friends who, based on their previous visits, brought me here. I now know the answer to the question "How do you turn brussel sprouts into a memorable highlight?" Answer: eat here. The brüksel lahanası elevated a routine side dish into a flavor packed interesting and memorable dining choose; for $8.00. This success was repeated over and... More

I was at Ayse with a group of friends. I would recommend to anyone interested in Mediterranean cuisine. Everything we tasted was delicious. Many options with great flavors. The dip sampler was delicious, Pita with turkish sausage was delicious, brussel sprouts, lahmacun, and please finish off with a real Baklava and ice-cream.

Decided to try Ayse with two other friends for a "Girl's Night Out." I was not in the mood to order lots of different plates of things. Maybe just a few appetizers before dinner so perhaps this was not the place for me. The waitress, although nice, did not explain the menu in a way that helped me know what... More

I love this place. It offers smaller dishes so take friends and share stuff. It's kinda like tappa. They also offer local and in season items on a special list. They have a great $10 express lunch option also. This place is def worth a visit.

The owner did a great job increasing a unique Mediteranian menu for this new spot. Great choices for vegetarians and lots of fun. The Brussels sprouts were gone in asecond...soooo good! Great outdoor patio and live jazz Thursdays. Our new favorite!

We just got back from dining at Ayse Meze (6/22/13). As usual, the food was delicious. But tonight, the service was the worst my husband and I have ever had. I really do not like to complain, and since our daughter was a server for an upscale restaurant in Frederick (The Wine Kitchen), I am even more cognizant of how... More
