Stopped in for a hot drinks on a cold afternoon. Cafe Nola had a nice feel about it and seemed to be popular with locals. Ordered Hot Chocolate which was very nice and made with frothy milk and a expresso coffee which was quality barista style which is often hard to find in the USA. Also offers... read more

We dined here kinda spur of the moment on 1/10/16. Hostess informed us that it would be 40 minutes for a party of 2, so we opted for seats at the bar. We started with Bloody Mary's, wonderful with house infused Basil Vodka. My girlfriend had the Croissant egg sandwich with Cheddar and local sausage, for her side she chose... More

This place is always packed. But it's totally worth the wait. They have great bloody marys and mimosas!!! I have yet to order something off the menu I didn't love. They have healthy, local, unique food choices on the menu that never gets old.

We chose Nola's because they serve Illy coffee and were not disappointed. Eclectic decor, great coffee and good food. We enjoyed this local cafe and visited twice for coffee and breakfast. Highly recommend.

I've been to Cafe Nola at least 3 times and have yet to leave wanting more of my experience. It's a great place for brunch since they serve some of the best bloody Mary's in Frederick. The benedicts are amazing; especially the Chesapeake with two mini crab cakes. It's also a great place for lunch or dinner as well and... More

Just went in to get a latte. Had one person in line ahead of me and 20 minutes later I got some burnt tasting cup of swill. There were 4 people working back there and none of them seemed to be doing anything. Everyone seemed completely indifferent. Terrible.

We had a late breakfast on a week day so we were seated right away. We were told that on weekends, there are wait lines. The coffee and Latte were excellent, good service, and great food. We both had stuffed French toast with apple compote. Neither of us needed lunch!

I got to enjoy the open mic with some friends last night and I loved Cafe Nola. The place has a hipster vibe with great drinks. If you can make it to an open mic, I strongly suggest you do because the talent there was off the wall.

I know every place has it's moment's, we were not disappointed. This Cafe is quaint, the food was good, coffee great, my company, (my wife), the best! Frederick is a great little city with lots of character! Come in and grab a bite here. We were pleased. Peace😎
