I had brunch there last weekend and, as usual, the food was delicious but slow to arrive. Our most recent visit to Nola lasted an hour and a half. Don't go to Nola if you're in a hurry, but if you have time, give it a shot. I recommend the Italian Benedict.

Loved it!! Food was not your "normal" fare, organic and farm to table. Small and usually busy so be sure to visit not a peak hours,

We had just been to the Museum up the street and stumbled across this place. We were there for a late lunch and just in time before they closed the kitchen. They were still open for cocktails and coffee. They serve breakfast 7-3 so I ordered the Rise and Shine, hubby ordered the Pick Me Up. My sandwich was served... More

Café Nola was a complete surprise. Looking for something different in downtown Frederick and found this place. Very good farm to table food. The drinks were great too. We will definitely go back next time we are in town. The mini cornbrats are a must. I had the pan seared eggplant which was light (yet filling). They also have an... More

Great and friendly service who was attentive and always on the ball! The food was fantastic, probably the best I have ever had in Frederick and it has a great atmosphere. Very laid back and coffee shop like.

Great coffee and breakfast. Had coffee at this little shop twice. Served with class. They have an outside area that was great for our morning cup of coffee to get us going.

This place has a lot of potential, but right now, that's all it is... potential. The staff is extremely laid back, and the service is very slow. We usually have to wait a long time for our food to come out. The food is pretty good, so it's a shame that everything else is not up to standard. The espresso... More

The place opened at 9am, and already had a wait at 9am due to one party of 18 who we allowed to walk in ahead of us.....After standing around for 20 min staring at empty tables everywhere we were allowed to be seated and order drinks, Our group had regular coffee, lattes, bloody marys and mimosas....all were highly received.....We were... We gravitate to Cafe Nola for lunch when we are in Frederick, about once or twice a year. The food is well made, mildly creative, and upscale. We've never had a problem with the service, even when the place is busy (as it usually is). There are no great culinary adventures to be had, but this is a higher end... More

Vegan options! Great drinks and incredible barista skills at play here. The service is great and the food is varied and excellent. Highly recommend.
