My husband and I love Mexican food and have been to just about every place there is in Frederick. Santa Rosa has them all beat, especially with its Salvadorian mix. Their food is always delicious and their service is fantastic. The margaritas are also sublime! We love it there and have been there at least once a month, bringing friends... More

We have returned to Santa Rosa many times and are never disappointed. The margaritas are fantastic! The chicken stew and beef/chicken fajitas are awesome! I think we would eat here every week if we could fit it into our schedule. We will be back for sure! :)

This is a great place we discovered this past weekend. A small place across form the Motel 6 in Frederick, it has exceptional food. The cuisine is Mexican and Salvadorean, we think that the Salvadorean influence is strong which is a great thing. We absolutely loved the food and the waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. We can't wait to... More

This is a place I would recommend for those that want something different than American. I ordered Mexican carryout and loved it but it had a little spice. Slightly hot which I like. Service was very good and friendly.

The atmosphere is on the edge of being beautiful. The bright colored maps on the wall in my opinion should look aged to go with the rest of the decor. We were welcomed and seated immediately and given salsa and chips to tide us over while we waited for our order. We ordered the Carne Asada which was just the... More

My husband is from El Salvador and the food we had was excellent. Its difficult to find good food at a reasonable price like this, if you're looking for a good meal for a family this is it!

One of the best kept secrets in all of Frederick! We take all our out of towner friends here, and have yet to have a bad meal. I've noticed that there has been a surge on Friday and Saturday nights, but even still, service is always good and food always hot. Food is moderately priced, fresh, and full of flavor.... More

Every dish is delicious, they recently moved into a larger, nicer space in the same plaza with booths and a bar. This is the best authentic Salvadoran and Mexican food I've had. And the staff is super pleasant and most have been working there for years. They work hard to make sure you're happy.

First of all, we like Cacique downtown for a night out (and we don't understand the popularity of La Paz at all). And we liked El Paso before they closed though it was too big and too slow. We have been regulars at Santa Rosa since their previous smaller location behind Famous Dave's on The Mile. Their current location is... More

Spouse and I have dined here several times since they opened a few years ago. The parking is free, seating is instant, the servers are fast and friendly, and on the occasion where I've been confused about what dish I really wanted, have been very helpful and patient in describing the differences. The food comes out quickly, is always fresh,... More
