Description: VOLT offers guests a menu of modern American cuisine. The focus of our cuisine is based on classic flavor combinations, creating sophisticated dishes that emphasize purity and seasonal flavors that are based on fundamental and innovative cooking techniques. VOLT's relationship with local artisan farmers ensures availability of products to fulfill the philosophy behind the menu, in a refined, historic venue where classic meets modern. By design, the restaurant follows along the original footprint of the mansions first floor parlors. Both the 38 seat main dining room and the bar/lounge open off the foyer. The original mosaic tile in the foyer was the inspiration behind the warm monochromatic color palette that adorns the finishes in VOLT. Private dining can be hosted in the conservatory offering views of the expansive courtyard. The 700 square foot kitchen afforded space to include up to 20 guests.

As avid foodies we have wanted to try Table 21 since they opened but never called early enough to get in. Luckily did get 4 seats for my wife's birthday on a BUSY Saturday night. We were told to wait in the bar until all 8 reservations arrived then escorted to the kitchen seating. Excellent view of the Chef d'... More

My husband and I had reservations for our 5th anniversary. We saw Chef Bryan at the street fair. I asked if he was working tonight since we had a 530pm reservation, he said he was. I said I would like a picture. We created our own tasting menu. I saw they had a chicken dish with Australian truffle. The waiter... More

The atmosphere is cramped but the food and local sodas were excellent. The service was as expected during a heavy dinner time.

I reallllllly wanted to love Volt - it has all the characteristics of a place that one wants to love: locally owned, innovative menu, great press, etc. Volt simply did not measure up. From the 15 minute wait for a glass of wine as we sat down (after my date already received hers 10 minutes earlier), to the packed in... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our entire dining experience here. The menu consists of numerous amazing small plates so that you can try a lot of different items. My husband and I each got 5 small plates, so we got to sample 10 different dishes!! Every one of them looked so unique, and tasted extraordinary. We were blown away with every bite!... More

Best restaurant on the east coast in my opinion. The food is always new and creative and the service is not too fussy.

My friend and I went there for the brunch on Saturday. I like that although this is an upscale restaurant, the wait service were dressed comfortably (chuck taylor shoes). In addition, I love to hear introductions as to what I'm about to eat (just like in the show, Top Chef). At $35, the three course (primo, secondi, and dessert) prix... More

great service and great brunch. we had the courtyard to ourselves on a beautiful day but did not feel alone. only wished I had not ordered extra donuts and bacon: the brunch was plenty and I felt obligated to eat the extras. that was a mistake cuz i was overstuffed. great bloody Mary's.

#2 on my list for best restaurants (up against WD-50 in New York City). I give Volt an excellent rating because of the overall experience and presentation of their art (food). My girlfriend and I came to this place for my 30th birthday and had dinner at Table 21. Make sure you have plenty of time to spare as it'll... More

They have a beautiful patio and the service was excellent. The food was good but we had higher expectations. Overall, I'd recommend it, but I think it's a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. The ambiance is wonderful, though, so perhaps that's worth paying for. The coffee cake parting gift was a lovely touch; unfortunately it is incredibly... More
