Great food and break from a day of biking!

We visited after lunch, and close to the start of dinner seating. They have plenty of spots to sit, and offer a variety of selections on the menu. The truffle fries were tasty, and the wait staff well trained and kind. The decor is of dark woods and warm coloring, and has an upscale "pub" feel... read more

Considering how expensive this restaurant is, we were not that impressed with the food. We started off with a field green salad which was very good. They also brought us a complimentary taste of some seafood that we didn't care for. We really liked the pineapple sorbet to cleanse our pallet before our entrees. I got the scallops which were... Creative menu, wonderfully executed. The staff and service was wonderful, and the live music was a nice added touch. We don't visit often, and know the restaurant has been around for a long time, but see no signs of things getting tired. I'd recommend this anyone! A++

Atmosphere is cozy, clean and lively. The service was friendly and responsive. But the real star is the food! From the steak, to the truffle fries, to the halibut, to the gorgonzola pear salad. It just could not have been a better place to relax and catch-up with family. Can't wait for the next visit! Try sitting upstairs.

It was lunch on a day in which we had not planned to spend much time. But this place came highly recommended by locals, so we stopped in. So glad that we did. Inside it looks a bit like a small Irish Pub. But upstairs, there is a balcony with wonderful, large windows, tons of light, and great views of... More

I hesitate to write a review because I want to keep this place to myself and only a few others! It is in one of Frederick's older historical buildings. Hard to say which I love more, the top flight food, beautifully presented or the views to people-watch out the second floor window. As an artist, that is a big deal... More

We stopped in during a visit to downtown Frederick. There are other restaurants on Market street we've dined at before but, coincidently, the one we were headed for was closed for vacation (?). We walked down the street peering in restaurant windows and, at first, thought "bar - bar food" but the interior looked very classy and inviting with lots... More

Nice restaurant, great atmosphere, good food but the service was a little slow. (You shouldn't have to wonder what happened to your waitress.) The online menu didn't match their actual menu so I was disappointed that the jalapeño burger was not available but the blue-cheese burger was good. My wife's steak and cheese sandwich was much better. We will be... More

This restaurant produces a new menu for each meal. In other words, you're getting what's fresh on the market. Excellent professional wait staff. Charming atmosphere with enough space so that you can converse with your dining companion. Food was very well prepared and presented. Good selection of beers and wine.

Always make a point to eat here when we are in the area. Great ambiance, service, and food. Located right in town.
