We were recommended this place by our hotel and I'd also done my research. Had a great lunch here one afternoon! This place is almost a beach-side shack with with a delightful outdoor sitting area and amazing views over the peacock-blue waters of Aiguablava! The lady brought around a selection of fresh fish but we went for seafood paella, which... More

We stayed in Aiguablava for 5 days and tried quite a few restaurants for lunch and dinner, some of whom are higher up on the ratings list here- I cannot imagine why these guys aren't top!! I've never tasted food like it. The location(right on the beach) only adds to the awesomeness. We ended up eating there 4 times as... More

Small outdoors restaurant on the beach with great fish and finally non fried pica-pica (hard to find on costa brava). Great atmosphere in the evening, with a beach were the kids can play while we have dinner.

Been there a few times and always the food was extraordinary. Of course great fresh fish, but also cooking is remarkable. Location is extraordinary, super nice spot at "Aiguablava" beach.

Situated on a wonderfully sandy beach looking out onto the bay of Aigua Blava. As opposed to some reviewers, we found the service more than adequate. All kinds of fish are presented for your consideration, all of which appear very fresh and locally caught. Naming the fisherman who catches the lobster is a little over the top ! All fish... More

We went twice for dinner this year having been last year too. Lovely outdoor restaurant on Aigua Blava beach that in my opinion is better for dinner as there are not some many people around (and you can park). The service is not the best or friendliest but if you are not in a hurry then it's worth putting up... More

There is not a lot to say, is in a very pretty part of the Cost Brava, quite idyllic but the day was ruined due to the really arrogant unpleasant service.

Sometimes you run into these little restaurants that are hard to believe. Toc Al Mar is one of those. Bordering a popular beach in the Costa Brava (beach of Aiguablava) thats often jam packed I did not expect the kitchen to be this good. Why, well lets say that it often leads to volume driven establishments. As many people in... More

We have just had the most marvellous evening at the Toc Al Mar. The menu is fairly limited, but we enjoyed 3 good portioned starters between a family of 4 (the spinach, avocado, pear and parmesan salad is excellent). For the main course you are presented with a platter of ulta fresh fish from which to choose (there are other... More

Stunning position and views over the beach. Food is excellent and wine list very good although menu is bigger for lunch than dinner. It is very much a seafood restaurant so maybe check ahead if its not your preference. Its very popular so book ahead by a day or two if you can. Kids loved it as they could play... More
