We went twice for dinner this year having been last year too. Lovely outdoor restaurant on Aigua Blava beach that in my opinion is better for dinner as there are not some many people around (and you can park). The service is not the best or friendliest but if you are not in a hurry then it's worth putting up... More

There is not a lot to say, is in a very pretty part of the Cost Brava, quite idyllic but the day was ruined due to the really arrogant unpleasant service.

Sometimes you run into these little restaurants that are hard to believe. Toc Al Mar is one of those. Bordering a popular beach in the Costa Brava (beach of Aiguablava) thats often jam packed I did not expect the kitchen to be this good. Why, well lets say that it often leads to volume driven establishments. As many people in... More

We have just had the most marvellous evening at the Toc Al Mar. The menu is fairly limited, but we enjoyed 3 good portioned starters between a family of 4 (the spinach, avocado, pear and parmesan salad is excellent). For the main course you are presented with a platter of ulta fresh fish from which to choose (there are other... More

Stunning position and views over the beach. Food is excellent and wine list very good although menu is bigger for lunch than dinner. It is very much a seafood restaurant so maybe check ahead if its not your preference. Its very popular so book ahead by a day or two if you can. Kids loved it as they could play... More

E very good salad! Very small, very expensive and with the worst service I have ever seen in my life!! Ah, the welcome was awkward since the beginning, if you had the same feeling, believe it!

I've been thinking a lot recently about whether a chef should be a servant to his ingredients, or the ingredients should be a way for a chef to show off his skill. I've decided I love restaurants where the ingredients are first rate and the chef brings out the very best in them with the fineness of his skill and... More

It was an excellent meal, the salads were exquisite, the bread with tomatoes scrumptious. We are very particular with our fish and it was cooked to perfection though a tad pricy 104E, but we did have 4 good portions.

Lovely atmosphere in a summer night, beautiful decoration, properly on the beach. Menu based on fresh fish, focus on that. Imaginative way to present the classical starters. Good rices but only at lunch time, but at that moment the place and the beach Can be too crowdy. I will come back.
