We went to Turandot for the third time in 2 months during the last week before its annual closing. We keep being impressed how this young team keeps up their very high standards. During an episode of Master Chef Australia, the program featured a dish with beef cheek. Well, the beef cheek that the... read more

Turandot has been an established favorite in Begur for some time now and we thought it was time to return and see if it still deserves its top billing. Firstly the interior hasn't changed at all and that lets it down a bit as the paint and decor are in need of updating. However cast your eyes towards the daily... More

Recommend by our hotel. What a wonderful meal. Inspired food in a region known for culinary innovation. Very approachable and playful food that everyone can appreciate. The truffled egg was delicious. I only we had stayed longer in begur so we could have returned again.

It may have been the time of year, end September, but the restaurant was full of non-Spaniards which put me off a little. The menu perhaps reflected the tourist market rather than Spanish tastes. That said, the food was good and although a little noisy ( a large group of American diners in an odd layout which may have contributed... More

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner last night in this intimate restaurant in the old village of Begur. Everything was absolutely delicious! Nice regional wines are very good and not expensive. The fixed price meal of 23 euros was a bargain for the level of dining. An appetizer of three large sea scallops on a bed of peas, etc. were truly... More

Refreshing exciting twist in regional cooking. Very hard to decide between dishes. Luckily we were a big party and could sample much of the offerings. All good. Loved the slo egg appetizer and the citrus mojito dessert!

We have tried several times to get a table here this summer without success and now that we have finally eaten here I can see why!! Has to be the best meal I've had in Begur and I've had a few over the last 20 years. Scallops were large, succulent and perfectly cooked. The pork secret was was outstanding. The... More

We selected Turandot as the 1st in Begur. Slightly disapppointment. Nice staff, speak good english, good service. The food itself, they try their best to make sophisticated dishes, maybe in an attempt to copy Ferran, but ... maybe it is us fancying simplicity and Original tastes. Good wines.

Had amazing meal here last night. This was a stand out meal in Catalonia. The homemade goats cheese dessert was like dying and going to heaven. Gorgeous staff who made us exceptionally welcome. 2 happy little Kiwis.

We were enjoying a 3 day break in Begur and looking for somewhere to eat when we spotted the Turandot ( and it was open Monday evening) what a find ...the food was excellent ...I had the crispy pork belly and my husband ordered the beef...along with the seasonal local mushrooms which were beautiful. Food for all 3 courses was... More
