After a few bad experiences trying to eat here, I gave up and now only stop here when it is snowing heavily and I take the early train into Boston. I thought the food here was very unpleasant. The atmosphere of the old depot is fun, though, and for one of my daughters, this is THE place in town to... More

We live in Acton and have driven right by this Concord eatery 1000's of times. The restaurant is in a renovated train depot. Quaint looking and intriguing. When we saw the GREAT TV review on Phantom Gourmet, we decided it was time to stop in for breakfast. A can't miss hit, right? Wrong...Bad, under-cooked sticky pancakes. ugh! We should have... More

My husband stumbled upon The Club Car Cafe one morning while walking with my son while our daughter was at ballet. "A Homerun" - he claimed when he got home that day. He returned the next weekend with all three kids so I could sleep in. The following weekend, he dragged us all to the Cafe. It is right on... More

Went in on a saturday for lunch. I had the best burger.. I asked what kind of burger they used, the waitress stated these are hand packed and our fries are hand cut. WOW.. The place was very casual and kid friendly. It is hard to find a place to grab a bite that is kid friendly. We also went... More

Above average breakfast! I really don't think you can do much better in the area for a tasty, reasonably -priced, breakfast. Eggs, omelets, French toast, pancakes, and all the sides are offered here for fast food prices with homemade quality. For breakfast, this is a reliable standby.

My husband and I came here on a Saturday and had a terrible dining experience. The service was glacially slow. We ordered a meal-sized salad and a grilled cheese sandwich with french fries -- both entrees were inedible. How can you mess up grilled cheese? It's easy if you don't grill it. The fries? Just barely dip them in tepid... More

It's a friendly atmosphere and a great restaurant for parents to bring children. The staff has always been extremely pleasant and willing to do anything to satisfy their customers. From what i've seen they get a mix of all crowds- elders, teens, parents with children. Not only is it beside the train tracks, but also has a toy train that travels throughout the... More

As a restaurant, this place does not show airs at all. Order at the register and they bring it to you in a small room with pews and decorations of Thomas the Tank engine, appropriate for a place that doubles as a train station. Not the place for you if you are looking for Morton's Steakhouse, but terrific breakfasts, and... More
