Winter Soup and Beef Bourguignon

Concords best luncheon carrot ginger and beef bourguignon, wonderful company, good service, cheap unless you overeat, but starved from various historical pursuits...like what else n Concord. This place is undiscovered, and still later or earlier, where to be seen indeed. Cold and starved we emerged... read more

Overpriced self-serve cafe with lovely looking yet average desserts, a few French dishes but mostly overrated salads and ready made foods, bad coffee (sorry...not my cup of...er...coffee), and a cheesy atmosphere. Friends and I cannot understand why it is always full at lunchtime.

I suppose that reading the reviews may have set the bar too high for us. It is set up so that you order food at the counter, pay, and wait at your table; the food is delivered. It took us a bit to figure this out; there was no host/hostess to greet and/or explain this and no signage that I... More

We are sorry the customer found our set-up confusing. We are glad his wife enjoyed the chicken breast stuffed with mushroom and basil. While it is marked on take-out containers that this dish is a breast of chicken, our lunch board has so many items listed that we sometimes have to cut corners to fit everything in. We will try... One evening, when I wasn't in a particularly nice mood and unwilling to make dinner for my family, I went to La Provence and asked for a whole pan of lasagna. I choked at the stunning price, and upon eating it I was able to say it is the best lasagna I've ever eaten. Just last week I had an... More

La Provence is such a value and charming place with locals gathering for lively discussions every morning. Their hot daily dishes are exceptional and even more outstanding for the price (under $8). Same goes for the sandwiches, the many daily healthy salad offerings, or quiches. A short 5-minute walk from Concord Center and right across from the train station and... More

Perhaps it's just an excuse to eat their amazing bread, but the sandwiches here are terrific. My family has them for dinner all the time. My personal favorite is turkey and Havarti. It's simple, but so good. When I dine in, I usually get the Three Salad plate. It allows you to choose from among 10 or more different salads,... More

Love this place, one of my faveorite places for coffee and croissants, or lunch where they serve a variety of French style entrées as well as salad , sandwiches and baked goods. A regular haunt for many who live in this town. But tourists love it too.they serve wine at meals and many come here for a late afternoon glass... More

The 3 salad dish is wonderful. There are so many choices. With the piece of baguette you can make a good sandwich with the tuna or chicken salad, get a vegetable and fruit. Wonderful lunch.

Quiches, soups, sandwiches, assorted pastries, etc.... Also packaged food to take home and re-heat. They have an attached dining room to seat yourself if you are eating in. Friendly staff.

My wife and I enjoy going to Lunch at La Provence. They have sandwiches, quiches and a selection of salads as well as a rich pastry section. They also offer a number of French grocery products.
