Nice eats, good treats, often busy at lunch hour

We make at least annual visits to Concord, as one of us grew up there. The food is very good; the selection is varied and healthy. It is small and a bit warm inside, with a casual, Concord French ambience. I wish the portions were larger (for example, of quiche). Service is a bit prompt yet suits the rushed lunch crowd well.

This is about as authentic a French bakery as you'll find. The owner is French and speaks French to the patrons who also speak French. This is my favorite coffee place in Concord, good coffee and a wide variety of pastries and muffins. They also serve lunch with a variety of French specialties available. The lunches have always been excellent.... More

authentic french cooking, fast and delicious (they also cater). each day they have four or five home cooked lunch plates, good veg options, soups, fresh roasted chicken (wow). the dessert case has an excellent selection of fine pastries. their french ham and brie sandwich on baguette is fantastic, and you can even get a glass of wine to make the... Such an excellent place. I used take my daughter here when she was tiny. Now she's 12, and we still love it. Stop by in the morning for croissants or pain de chocolate. The palmiers are terrific. We like the quiche lorraine with the French lemonade. The red potato salad was a little too al dente on Tuesday; they needed... More

La Provence is a great place for breakfast, lunch or a little snack. Their bakery items are fresh, and their lunch items are tasty without being too heavy. I always like to get their 3-item lunch plate, with your choice of salads, pasta salads, and tuna or chicken salad. They have a good selection of drinks too.

Just a nice easy going cafe. Amazing deserts. A french flair in Concord Center. All food is fresh and delicious. Counter service.

I often choose a sandwich made with a baguette and pate or ham. There are plenty of salads to choose from and some specials as well which could include a hot meal. The food is simple but good . The coffee is not but the wine is usually lovely.

Overpriced self-serve cafe with lovely looking yet average desserts, a few French dishes but mostly overrated salads and ready made foods, bad coffee (sorry...not my cup of...er...coffee), and a cheesy atmosphere. Friends and I cannot understand why it is always full at lunchtime.

I suppose that reading the reviews may have set the bar too high for us. It is set up so that you order food at the counter, pay, and wait at your table; the food is delivered. It took us a bit to figure this out; there was no host/hostess to greet and/or explain this and no signage that I... More

We are sorry the customer found our set-up confusing. We are glad his wife enjoyed the chicken breast stuffed with mushroom and basil. While it is marked on take-out containers that this dish is a breast of chicken, our lunch board has so many items listed that we sometimes have to cut corners to fit everything in. We will try...
