I ate here with my 12 and 13 year old kids on a historical trip to the area. EXCELLENT service, food and ambiance. This inn has been maintained exceptionally over the course of its 300 years of operation! Highly recommend the clam chowder and the black forest cake for dessert. We will definitely return.

I'll make this brief. Friend and I stopped for lunch today. Troy D. was our sloppy server. There were two of us dining. He brought one of our entrees with one of the two appetizers we ordered. Then brought the other appetizer 15 minutes later with the other entree. When he took our order, he seemed rushed. I asked him... More

My husband and I came here for dinner with my Aunt and Uncle. We sat outside on the porch. The first thing we noticed was how nicely shaded the porch was. Between the trees and the umbrellas we didn't get to much sun. Our waitress was very attentive and informative. All four of us ordered the bacon cheese burgers. They... More

Our first day in Concord and we had to stop at the Colonial Inn. We had a quick lunch on the porch which was beautiful. It was pretty spendy so we didn't go all out. Service was friendly. Lovely place.

We enjoyed the wonderful sandwiches and attentive service on the porch of this Concord landmark. The servings are more than generous, and we wound up taking enough home for another lunch. The setting is very interesting, pretty much in the center of things in the middle of Concord and within easy walking distance of interesting shopping. The only drawback is... More

Everyone who travels through Concord Massachusettes, and I mean everyone, should stop to at least take a photograph of the lovely Colonial Inn on the square in the historic district. Food at the Colonial Inn is wonderful, beautifully prepared, friendly service and table settings are exquisite. You just have to see Colonial Inn and experience the ambiance, realizing it's part... I don't usually write reviews, but our experience here was so awful that I wanted to warn others. We originally wanted to have high tea at the Taj in Boston, but thought the family we were staying with might want to join us, so we waited too long to make reservations. We really liked Concord last time we visited, so... More

I've passed The Colonial a hundred times over the past couple of years, I'm certain, and I've mentioned on several occasions that I'd like to eat there "just because." Well, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, after strolling through the antiques shops, I found myself ready for a lunch and ready to give The Liberty at the Colonial a shot. Our... More

Atmosphere on a perfect summer night was great. Very friendly staff and good service. But food was a D. (We didn't say anything, we never do.) How can a 'pub' serve mediocre to bad fries? My daughter had the special Grilled Cheese - Provolone with prosciutto and tomatoes. It had almost no cheese- one slice- and the prosciutto was just... More
