I go here frequently for dinner. It's convenient (right at the train station) and easy to get to and the food has always been good. In fact, I've never even had a negative experience or ordered anything that did not turn out to be delicious. It's the service, though, that really makes Chang An's stand out. If you go regularly,... We go here quite often. It is good and reasonable. You always know what you are getting and the quality remains the same. We usually have take out!!

We go here often. I particularly like the Chrispy Shrimp. More Chinese-American rather than strictly Chinese. Service can be almost too quick, so sometimes we ask them to take a little more time, but if you are in a hurry, this is the place.

I visited at lunch time, somewhat late. They are a Cantonese restaurant with a somewhat broadened menu to appeal to all American tastes. This is not one of those truly authentic Chinese restaurants that works hard to maintain its authenticity. It's an American-Chinese restaurant that is based in standard Cantonese cuisine -- and appeals to not very sophisticated diners. That... More

We meet friends there for dinner periodically. The food is good. but the waiters are often rather surly and not very pleasant. It has happened more than once. too bad. they need some training in how to be pleasant to the customers. the last time the waiter pressured us to order ( place wasn't busy) and then when he arrived... The appetizers far exceed the main courses, so treat yourself from the beginning of the menu. Delicious dumplings (peking ravioli) in huge portions. Avoid the chow fun (too cooked noodles), and make sure to ask for at least medium spicy for the meat and fish dishes. Good white rice, but less flavorful fried rice then you would expect. Quick service... More

The food is very good. The menu includes low-fat and calorie controlled items. The egg drop soup is excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient. If you go there more than once, the staff remembers who you are and what are your preferences. The luncheon buffet is much better than the standard reheated and overcooked items. There is a lot... I went for a lunch buffet. It was a bit over $11 for all you could eat. There were dumplings, other appetizers such as crab rangoon, and a variety of meat and vegetable dishes. One was fish. There were also four desserts from which to choose. Much of food is fried. Some of it is quite tasty. However, dishes that... More
