Great atmosphere, loved the chili

When I'm on vacation, finding a local place with good atmosphere is just as important to me as the food itself, and this place delivers. We had a late lunch but it was still busy on a Monday and service was slow. The specialty--chili with chunks of squash--was perfect, warm and filling. The flavor... read more

Take a seat and soak it all in! The rustic tavern/bake shop features a warm and welcoming staff and homemade sweets, not to mention chowder and cornbread and a comprehensive menu. Been here many many times and never been disappointed. The environment is quaint with nostalgic photos of days gone by on the walls. If you're lucky you'll get to... More

Having celiac disease makes traveling very stressful. The staff at the cafe worked hard to make sure that I could eat there safely and enjoy a delicious meal at the same time. Once I experienced their help and food I ate there every night for dinner while I stayed in Concord. If I know I am going to be cared... More

Great little place. Charming atmosphere. A bit of a combination of a coffee shop, a sandwich shop, a diner, and a pub. No WiFi - too bad... Could have used it.

Good food and good service even on a Busy Easter Sunday. I can recommend the no carb which was delicious and the eggs Benedict.

In the unbelievably pretty town of Concord this is a lovely building on Main Street. It has a mixture of things for lunch - soup, sandwiches, salads and burgers - and was good value with good sized portions.

Main Street Cafe is well located in the center of Concord and is just the kind of place you want to find on a weekend getaway or to meet friends for a coffee or meal. Great affordable menu with many options from which to choose and few to none that would not leave you full and happy. Good portion sizes,... More

This little cafe is very unique. So many options! Sandwiches, salads, pizza, entrees and desserts plus breakfast! I really wanted to give this place an "excellent" but the service was really, really slow. Walked in around 6pm on a Wednesday night and only one table was full. By 6:30, the place was packed. There was live entertainment starting at 8.... More

A friend and I stopped here for lunch in late November during a day of shopping. When I ordered their roasted beet salad, the waitress apologized and said that they were out of roasted beets, so I ordered another less interesting salad. My friend ordered a sandwich wrap, and we both asked for iced tea (huge glasses). My friend and... More

Day trip to Concord/Lexington while visiting son in New Hampshire. Stopped at visitors center which was closed but decided to grab a bite to eat. This cafe was close by and we decided to give it a try. It was packed so we sat at the bar and had the crab cake panini. It was delicious! Wished I had saved... More
