I had expected this was just a coffee house and was going to hang out here until the other restaurants opened but the counter person offered me a full breakfast menu. I had eggs, bacon and pancakes. It was perfectly done and very tasty. You pay at the counter and they deliver. No waitress to worry about. Free refills on... More

This is just a coffee/atmosphere review, not a food review as we didn't stay. We were very optimistic about this place from the outside, but were sorely disappointed with our experience. The coffee wasn't special by any means, was only warm and lack any kind of distinction in our opinion. The staff and customer service was a little cold and... More

My daughters and I refer to the Main Street Cafe as Luke's, from the show Gilmore Girls. It's a little small town restaurant. Sandwiches, breakfasts, nice desserts. It's a good place. It has a slightly grumpy owner (the endearingly grumpy kind, from busy-ness) and "no cell phones" sign, just like Luke's! It can be crowded at lunch time. Try to... More

My wife and I were in MA for the weekend, visiting Boston and a few surrounding locations. We were in Concord on a Sunday afternoon after visiting the Minute Man Park and found this place around lunch time. There seemed to be a lot of people outside waiting or eating from to-go containers and it was busy. We were able... More

We ordered takeout due to the long wait for seating, were told it would be 10-15 mins. After about 30 mins my buzzer went off but I was told it was an error. After 45 mins I asked for a status and was told it would be 10 more minutes. At that point I asked for a refund and was... More

Such a great little place on Main St in Concord. Was able to enjoy a great lunch and a beer with a co-worker. Tiny place, so seating comes as a premium, but there seems to be good turnover. Head inside and grab a seat and the waitress comes to you, or order and take your lunch to-go. Either way this... More

I have eaten here a few times and I am never thrilled with the food. I do love the atmosphere. It cost me over $ 15 for a blt, small small dish of coleslaw and lemonade. The service was terrible. Going to find a new lunch place next time in Concord. Sorry

What keeps small coffee shops is the personal touch... the family owned feeling... the coffee which is a bit distinctive. None of this was evident. One is attracted by the decor and ambience but the coffee and cakes are ordinary... Few choices in Concord though...

I stopped into the Café for lunch on Friday and found the atmosphere to be great. On my way to my seat I saw what had to be the biggest and most appetizing lobster I have every seen. So, that made my lunch decision pretty easy, or so I thought. When the fella sitting next me got severed the fish... More

Food is generally pretty bad. The chili used to be fabulous now just a bowl of fat and sugar accompanied by an extremely sweet corn bread. Other foods are non memorable. Service is ok. Some staff members are too busy chatting with their favorite customers to notice you and take your order both at table and bar. Music is generally... More
