The food was lukewarm which can be dangerous to one's health. We had to eat breakfast there and they seemed to run out of the cold food and fruit often. We ate dinner there one night and again it was lukewarm(navajo taco) and poor quality

The Far View Terrace is exactly as it sounds. Food was cafeteria style, and not cheap for it's quality, but considering it is in the middle of a Nat'l Park on on Top of a Platea, it is not extravagant. The view makes up for the food quality.

Cafeteria style restaurant with good food choices and reasonably priced. The views are quite spectacular. If you can avoid going when a coach arrives. We had just finished our meal when a coach party turned up and there were long queues forming.

They offered well prepared food and a fairly good selection, excellent coffee, but the prices were pretty steep for what you get. Convenient, though!

The food was excellent, the service attentive and responsive without being at your elbow all the time. The view from the Terrace restaurant was gorgeous, and there's an excellent view from almost every table. A bit pricey if you are bringing children but otherwise quite a treat after wandering the Mesa.

We ate here three times while staying at the lodge. The menu is a bit limited, but both of us found always found something that we liked. One evening we stayed there there were dirty dishes and trays piled up on empty tables.... however, the other two times the place was immaculate. There was one woman that was clearing tables,... Food quality ok for the price. What irritated us was there was a very long line for the initial ordering, and if you wanted something from the middle of the cafeteria line, you still had to go through the long, slow line. We opted for soup to bypass the line because of limited time.

This is a typical tourist stop cafeteria. Choices, prices, and quality of food pretty much as expected. View from the dining room quite nice.

The food was expensive and not exciting. Overpriced salads and sandwiches. Calif. wine and local beer were offered, but again at high prices. The view out the plate glass windows was exceptional! Served at good temperatures. Fresh ingredients. Good staff.
