The best and fresh barbequed squids enjoyed right on the beach. Very nice place for a family dinner.

Lovely spot but reserve your table and ask to sit at the back of the restaurant which overlooks the sea. Very beautiful spot. Tables pretty close together but by 2.00 pm the place was heaving in all four of the different seating areas. Fresh sardines and mussels, good salads. All in all a lovely meal and we sat there for... This place does have the prime spot on the beach, and as a result will always be popular, but it's nothing special in terms of service. Having said that the vegetarian tagine was well liked by my wife, and the prices were reasonable considering the location. Definitely worth a visit if only to experience the setting. On this occasion they... More

Sitting right by the waters edge this really is in a fantastic setting. The food we had was very good and the staff were so kind and helpful. Not a lot of choice for children but large portions so be careful not to over order like us. We also went to casa Emilio which we enjoyed just as much. It... More

This restaurant trades on its location. The food is so-so, the staff indifferent at best. Go to Chiringuito Casa Emilio at the other end of the beach instead.

Located as part of a rock just of the beach you are locate very nicely. You can view the boys fishing from the rock and we also saw the sunset. This was the best part. For dinner we chose fish and the grill. It was fresh - perhaps a bit over cooked - and ok. Not fantastic. The vegetables that... More

Decided to visit this restaurant twice during recent holiday to Salobrena. The restaurant has a great location, part of it is on the rock, and part is on the beach. Entertainment in an informal manner can be found on some summer evenings. Our party largely enjoyed their food on both occasions, which is reasonably priced. The location definitely sells this... We decided to go here for our last night. The location is amazing with fantastic views. The food was fine but not as good as casa emillio a little further down the beach. Food would have been 3 stars but the setting pulls it up to a four star review.

We found this bayside restaurant purely by chance. Santander was heaving on Saturday and we had time to kill before the ferry. The view over the bay is delightful, with deep blue sea and waves lapping against the rocks. The daily lunch menu at 15 euros was great value, including wine and water. We were the only foreigners and nobody... More

Discovered Salobrena when touring along the coast road. The restaurant has a great location nestling at the end of the beach beneath a large rock. We liked it and were able to eat and watch the swimmers and went there again two days later when a strong wind was causing the surf to crash on the shore. No swimmers of... More
