Decided to visit this restaurant twice during recent holiday to Salobrena. The restaurant has a great location, part of it is on the rock, and part is on the beach. Entertainment in an informal manner can be found on some summer evenings. Our party largely enjoyed their food on both occasions, which is reasonably priced. The location definitely sells this... We decided to go here for our last night. The location is amazing with fantastic views. The food was fine but not as good as casa emillio a little further down the beach. Food would have been 3 stars but the setting pulls it up to a four star review.

We found this bayside restaurant purely by chance. Santander was heaving on Saturday and we had time to kill before the ferry. The view over the bay is delightful, with deep blue sea and waves lapping against the rocks. The daily lunch menu at 15 euros was great value, including wine and water. We were the only foreigners and nobody... More

Discovered Salobrena when touring along the coast road. The restaurant has a great location nestling at the end of the beach beneath a large rock. We liked it and were able to eat and watch the swimmers and went there again two days later when a strong wind was causing the surf to crash on the shore. No swimmers of... More

Perfect place to have a snack while the kids play in the surf. The seafood is great and I liked the paella but my more discerning travel partner said it could've been better. We both agree they had great sangria. Attentive waiters as well.

This place is in possibly the best location in Salobrena but their attitude stinks! To be honest, the food is not much better - give it a miss; there are far better places close by.

Fantastic location and extremely friendly staff didn't really make up for the so-so quality of the fresh fish we ordered. Have been before and chosen their daily specials which were very good - and having eaten outside on the beach which was wonderful, and having watched the dare-devils leap into the sea, which is quite a spectacle, as is the... We were staying in Granada in late November, it was cold in the high altitude. We hired a driver to take us to the coast. Only 45 minutes away and the temp was 40 degrees higher. For lunch we stopped at El Penon - right on the beach up against the large rock. They were roasting octopus outside the entrance... More

Best position on the shore front, but the food and service were little more than average. I ordered rock lobster, which is one of my favourite foods, but there was nothing to get excited about. Certainly very fresh seafood, but the chef needs to read a book or two, and the table getting served in dribs and drabs is never... More

The views from our terrace table across the bay as the sun went down made this restaurant memorable. The fragrance of fish and seafood slowly cooking on skewers over charcoal was mouthwatering. My swordfish steak lived up to the promise. The service was a little offhand and disappointing. Our starter and main all arrived at once which was a pity.... More
