We went to the Lute y Jesus across the street from the beach numerous times during our two weeks in Almuñécar. One mid-day meal was very good (I had the chops; after consultation, the kitchen prepared grilled fish well for my husband, who is celiac). For the most part, though, we went four or five times for drinks and tapas... More

We visited Lute y Jesus twice during our two week holiday. Very tasty, fresh fish. First visit we had fried fish assortment, which was one of the best we ever had. Second time we had the grilled (a la plancha) fish assortment which was even better than the fried one. We recommend the a la plancha! House white wine wasn´t... More

There are 3 Lute y Jesus restaurants/bars/takeaways in the town. The original is a great place to take some shade on a sunny day. The takeaway now allows you to have your purchases with a drink in the terrace in front. But best of all is the new one on the beachfront. It has everything you could ever ask for,... More

Nice place, great service. Nothing to complain about. The seafood we had was very good. The price is very reasonable.

Best if you can sit outside and watch the Spanish enjoying themselves out with their family at the weekends. Children running around might not suit everyone but you can always sit inside. Menu is large with excellent choices, all very reasonably priced. The fried aubergine with honey is delicious (sounds horrible but try it). Waiters speak English.

Excellent place to visit for authentic Spanish food, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. Can get quite busy outside, but inside is also very nice.

After a walk around the town to explore and gain our bearings hunger was starting to call. We came across this restaurant and looked at the menu, then decided to try based on the variety (I was looking for something with vegetables!). As soon as we sat down we were served by a very pleasant man (turned out to be... More

We enjoyed a large, grilled seafood platter here (see pic). Service was friendly, efficient and we were give a delicious chupito at the end of our meal!

We came here after reading the TA reviews. However once we looked at the menu we found we didn't really fancy anything from the main courses. Instead we opted to order a few tapas style starters and it was very nice. I don't think we would come back as the food didn't look amazing to us and the restaurant wasn't... More
