New Years Eve 2014

New Years Eve - Noche Vieja - spent at La Corrala was a wonderful night! Tony and Jesus and their children served a fantastic Menu - it was like eating in a private Dining Room! Food and drinks excellent We truly enjoyed that night - and all the others - at this nice place!

We had our late lunch at around 3pm on Nov 26, 2014. The owner was very friendly and recommended the Menu of the Day for €10. For my entrée, I got the Tortillas de Camorones, which turned out to be deep fried so I gave them to my hubby. He got a nice house salad that we shared. For the... More

Situated in the back streets off the old town, We booked for 10 people, the staff couldnt be more helpful, food was lovely but a bit pricier than other places we have visited, but dont be put off by the price the venue and staff certainly make paying that little bit more worthwhile.

The quality of the food was ok or good, the stuff were very friendly and I could write a much better review if the prices were not far too high. We paid around 80€ for two people but you can have the same quality for around 50€ in Almunecar. Unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant.

Cannot knock the quality of the food, Its the price that spoiled our night. We were given a basket of stale bread that was on the bar when we first went into the restaurant & found that we had been charged 2.10 euros for it. A very expensive tapas menu when you compare it to all the other tapas bars... More

Restaurant La Corrala is a typical Spanish restaurant near the town square. The dining room is traditional and the chairs don´t invite for dining in several hours. The service is excellent, though. My starter was the mushroom with foie (€ 10) and the main course was the entrecote (€ 15). It was just ok. The entrecote was more than medium... More

We had dinner with four. The fish soup as starter was great. Our main course was lamb and beef. Both were delicious, nicely seasoned and tender. La tarta tres chocolates for dessert was the best way to end this wonderful evening. So when you're in Almunecar, La Corrala is a place to remember!

On a small side street off of the town hall square La Corrala is a warm and welcoming place with good food, service and a nice ambiance. Often quiet in winter that takes nothing away from its charm and excellent value. Traditional Spanish dishes are beautifully prepared and very tasty.

We loved this family-owned place. Excellent food and wine..especially the duck selections. They took special care of us since it was mid-week and we were the only patrons.
