Was here twice in July 15

Very good food. Relaxing surroundings. Went to jazz night the second night. Everything was great. Would recommend to others.

This is our favourite restaurant which is very close to where we live in La Herradura. The Jazz Evening was well ......... divine. Velvet back ground jazz by a duet of mussos, the real deal, accompanied a great THREE Course meal prepared by Mark. Sandra's wine recommendations always marry with the food Perfectly! I recently reviewed another very good restaurant... More

Have been here many times and have never been disappointed. The tasting menu on Fridays is particularlyworth mentioning - 6 terrific courses for 25 euros. It's definitely aimed at Northern Europeans ( I am English) rather than the locals, but even so os the best restaurant in Almunecar by a distance

Excellent meal at Los Laureles. We were renting a villa in Almunecar and villa owner recommended the place, so glad we tried it! The portions of food aren't huge but what I would expect in a quality restaurant. A rare find in Almunecatr and if you are unsure of location (Los Pinos area just out of town but take road... More

Second time we've eaten here, both times we had the tasting menu, absolutely delicious, and superb value for money. Each dish was beautifully presented, and served. 6 courses Aspragus, crab, chicken, tuna, lamb and a trio of desserts to finish all for 25euros. We are going back again before we go home to try their a la carte menu. Really... More

We had a very pleasant lunch here. We had young chicken with asparagus, feta, ham, almonds… for our starter, red snapper on a bed of veggies in a mild curry sauce for our main, and strawberries, whipped cream & ice cream on a puff pastry for dessert. All were nicely presented & garnished — and just delicious — one of... More

Have been there numerous times. The food is great, made with fresh commodities. Tasting menu out of this World. Highly recommendable. The staff is really friendly. Have been there for lunch, dinner on weekdays - have also been there celebrating sisters 60th birthday with lots of people. Have celebrated own 12,5 wedding anniversary. Live in Denmark and come Los Laureles... More

Three of us went for Sunday lunch. Three courses for €14.50 (including IVA). Two of us had the smoked salmon and the other had pate for starters. All of us chose the roast beef which came with a selection of roast potatoes and vegetables, all served piping hot and on hot plates. Desserts were upside-down pineapple tart, passionfruit soufflé and... More

This is our favourite local restaurant. The food is superb and the ambiance great. Try the menu del noche midweek or one of their special tasting menus at the weekend - excellent value and beautifully presented. Well worth a visit or two but need to book in summer.

This restaurant is excellent. The setting is pleasant, we were on the terrace for lunch. Every plate was well presented, creative, without going over the top. Getting fish cooked right appears to be an insurmountable challenge in Southern Spain. This chef cooks fish right. The desserts were much too sugared and service average. By far the best fish I had... More
