Long Wait for a Good Buffett Breakfast!

The food and choices were excellent. Great fruits, pastries, and hearty breakfast foods. Service is pretty good. But the wait at 8:00am was over 30 minutes which is hard to wait that long for a business trip. Anyway, good breakfast but get their early!!

Came to SEAR while heading downtown for a show. The ambiance was great, service impeccable, and food was very good. I had the Ravioli with chicken and the greek flat bread. Melissa was our waitress and she did a fantastic job. It was a little pricey, but I really enjoyed my meal and that is what it is all about.

Great Service, Dinner was Sylvester and the Sous Chef, who both greeted me by name, not quite sure how they did that? Breakfast, I didn't get names, but Omelette attendant was very quick and courteous and friendly. Server very nice. BILL

Best idea - go to the breakfast buffet on Friday, Sat and Sunday -- it's huge and will fill you up until dinner. For the breakfast buffet, kids under 12 eat free on the weekend and reduced during the week.

Must have been a bad night for the Sear wait staff. A group of six of us sat for dinner and just to make things short and sweet- the ambiance was great, the food looked and smelled great (it's expensive- just putting that out there but we had cheerleaders, we were tired and hungry and everyone else was booked up... Sometimes you go out with a small group where some others have dietary constraints, and wanting not to insult them, you order your 5th or 6th choice on the menu. That happened to me at Sear, and I must admit, I didn't love my dish. Things started off well, with excellent service immediately upon being seated (I always like an... More

I ordered breakfast from the menu as opposed to the buffet....it was room temperature and not very flavorful. The staff acted annoyed at being asked to accommodate a party of seven. The servers disappeared for long periods while we waited for refills and other items we needed. For the high end quality that the Marriott prefers to represent, I would... More

Went to dinner with some friends, we got to sit right by the open kitchen. Great appetizers, everyone ordered something different. I had the scallops, which were at least U10, and seared perfectly, with a cauliflower puree - wonderful meal. Service was top shelf - I would definitely dine here again.

After spending 5 days in Atlanta, GA and visiting several restaurants, we had dinner on the last Friday of our stay at Sear. We stayed at the Hilton and found the food unappetizing. Hotels are not generally known for having good food. The Sear is located in the Marriott Hotel. The service, the atmosphere and the food was all excellent.... More

This place has the best service and the most spectacular food. My only complaint is that they've changed their bread servings. Keep things the way they are, people like it!
