I had fallen in love with the Hawaiian BBQ in a different state and it broke my heart when we moved and couldn't get anything nearby. We went to Waikikie and I was back in heaven. I got the BBQ combo platter and it was delicious.the meat is very tender and the portions are hardy and reasonably priced. I was... More

Visited this restaurant today. Food was freshly prepared and very good. It is easy to miss but has an outdoor patio that is somewhat private considering it is on a busy road. I'm no expert taste tester but the coconut shrimp was very good. The chicken and rice were very good as well. Both my companion and I enjoyed the... More

So I surprised my wife with taking her out to lunch and she had heard good thing about Waikikie Hawaiian BBQ. It is a short drive from Emory, so we gave it a shot. Walking in, we loved the look of the place, not fancy, but it felt Hawaiian. The menu is very expansive, in fact, we made sure to... More

This place has been in Atlanta for about 5 years! The food is amazing and it is similar to Filipino food. The one thing that makes this place stand out is the spam!!! You do not normally find spam served anywhere in Atlanta except for this place!

We happened to visit while they were getting ready to have an annual celebration. Food was good but it is Atlanta and not Hawaii.

As far as hawaiian BBQ goes, this place nails it. We used to live down the road from here and it's a great break from the normal places. My absolute favorite thing was the hawaain beer he served. I can't recall the name but it was a Kona infused ale, delicious.

Copies the menu almost verbatim but adds some things not on the original's menu like pot stickers and coconut shrimp. I had the BBQ plate with the 3 types of BBQ. It's the most expensive of the BBQ plates. I ordered it because I wanted to taste as much variety as the place served. I added an app of pork... More

We were here early on a Friday night, hardly anyone else there, but we went in anyway. Counter service, but the guy behind the counter was very helpful and made several recommendations. We had the kalua pork and a combo with spicy chicken and katsua chicken with pineapple sauce. Each came with white rice and macaroni salad. Each entree and... More

While they don't have my favorite (Lomi Lomi salmon), what I had was tasty and a great price. The atmosphere is fun and the staff were very attentive. I recommend this restaurant and i look forward to going back. They seem to have a nice patio and whatever sauce was in the bottle on the table, it was amazing on... More
