I'm a local and have visited the varsity many many times but I'm now disappointed in the level of service. The last two times I've visited have been on Sunday afternoons and I'm frustrated at the service or lack of. The food is fresh and pretty much the same as it's been for 20 years but service is totally off.... More

The world's largest drive in is a cool place to eat if you are visiting Atlanta. It is a huge dinner. It is very busy, but the service is fast. The combo meal will run you about $10 (burger, hot dog, onion rings and drink). I think its a good deal. They use all beef hot dogs.

Way over rated, but as a tourist you must go at least once. If you cannot ever say you have been to the Varsity well then just shut up! Nothing spectacular, good chili, be sure and get it on everything you order. But everyone must make one trip to the Varsity.

Being a Georgia bulldog it is always to eat that close to Ga Tech, but the Varsity is an icon of Atlanta. Onion rings and chili dogs late at night gives great indigestion, but is so much fun. Wear one of their signature hats and take a selfie

Yuck. The hot dogs probably cost them .20$ I ordered the slaw dog and slaw/chili dog hoping for a mind blowing bite that would make me want to return to Atlanta from Dallas just for the food. And it DIDN'T happen. The hot dog was cheap. The slaw is probably made in a warehouse somewhere and shipped in plastic bags... More

Having grown up in Atlanta and visiting the Varsity many times as a teenager, it pains me to see the terrible product they are producing at their Airport restaurant. I love the hot dogs and they were prepared well, but the onion rings and fries were cold. It was obvious they were prepared ahead of time and not monitored prior... More

This place needs to be on every tourists "must visit" list. Want car hop service? It is available too. Better to go inside and join the throngs. Reasonable priced good food ... We definitely will return.

We always have to stop at The Varsity when we are in downtown for a ball game. The chili dogs are our favorite with onions and mustard, onion rings and a orange slush. Take your indigestion medicine... LoL Greasy! I've been coming to the Varsity for 35 years. Always a treat!

i was so excited to visit the varsity because there is so much hype surrounding it. i must say i was a little let down. the burgers, fries, and hot dogs are all pretty standard. what makes them delicious is the chili they pile on top. for the price, however, i can get much better americana food without the crowds...
