What'll ya have? What'll ya have? A Unique Experience!

The Varsity is an experience you can't get anywhere else. You simply can't come to Atlanta and NOT stop in at the Varsity. Terrific burgers, and onion rings to die for! From the hype on the different TV shows, we were greatly disappointed about this place. Extremely crowed. Extremely loud. No sense of order going to or coming from the ordering counter. Extremely hot and uncomfortable inside. Tables were dirty. Hot dog buns were soggy because they had been setting on the line too long instead of being pick-up up when... More

Great burgers and best homemade onion rings! Very busy but service was great and fast. Seating area very large. The fried apple pies were delicious also!

There are better hamburgers out there, but it certainly was not bad. The bun was a tad stale. The experience though is just ... different. Like it went back in time. The onion rings were good but a tad greasy. I think it has been accurately rates over time by other Trip Advisor reviews.

Honestly, the food is only average but you have to go there for the experience and it's a landmark and tradition in Atlanta

You gotta love a good burger and a dog. This restaurant is a tradition! Be prepared to wait in line, but worth it. The onion rings are a must have and there is a small ice cream counter if you feel like something sweet other than a fried pie. Great fun for the little ones who can get a free... More

Wether on a family outing in the city, on the way to any sporting event, or just needing a great ATL experience, you gotta stop by the Varsity. Great food, good views, easy access off interstate, and usually quick service.

Ok so not gourmet but....a great Atlanta tradition. Naked dawg is the best! Chili steak is great but the vadilia onion rings are a must. Frosted orange and fried peach pie will make your meal complete!'

This is a really cool place that my husband had wanted to go to for a long time. Having seen the Varsity on the Travel channel's food shows and from the road during our vacations...We are happy to say that we have been there. The food is just so so. I have had much better burger and dogs at baseball... More

Well, haven't been to Atlanta in about 10 years. Always try to eat at the Varsity while in Atlanta. We really enjoy the hotdogs and the onion rings.....of course, my daughter and I had to have the Frosted Orange drink.....yummy! We visited around 4 pm on a Saturday in June. Lots of people there, as usual. But as there is... More
