Best choices - onion rings and grilled pimento cheese sandwich. This food is unbelievably delicious, I'm sure because of the grease! If you have a need for some good greasy food I'd recommending this place - but not once a week!

This is one of those "must see" places due to its history. The food was okay, although most of what they served is fried and/or very greasy. It was still delicious (especially the onion rings), but probably not the best to eat on a regular basis. The atmosphere is loud and crowded. We were surprised at how quickly the order... More

Wanted to give the place a shot as was in town. It is huge, I pulled up to "drive in" spot ant waited about 5 mins - no one came out. Were other cars there eating - not sure what happened - so I parked and went upstairs and ate inside. Was pretty good dog. Nothing awesome but good food... More

We recently dined here this past weekend will we were in town. The food is awesome if you love greasy hamburgers, fries and onion rings. When I lived in the area, it was a tradition to hit The Varsity after a Georgia Tech game. I've never been disappointed with the food or service. It was also the first time my... More

It is a very large drive-in with plenty of indoor seating too. It must be something on game days when everyone is jammed in there. The food was decent and not overly priced. I'm not sure I would want to come here late at night as it seemed to be in a iffy neighborhood.

The Varsity has been around forever. Right next to Georgia Tech. It has average hamburgers/fries/onion rings. The best thing there is the Frosted Orange. Highly recommended. Chili was good. Very basic dining rooms, but clean. Friendly employees. Parking is monitored, don't stay for more than an hour or you might get a ticket. Affordable meals, a little more than McDonalds... More

No one should ever go to Atlanta without going to The Varsity!! Such a fun place for classic American food. If you haven't been to The Varsity, you haven't really experience Hot-Lanta! And The Orange Frosty is a must to go with your hot dog, burger, fries, or all of the above!!
