please do not come here. we were here yesterday as friends told us to stop by. the service was terrible and waited for ever to ask what we wanted. just wanted a chili cheese dog, which the quality was sub-par. do not waste your time, and please go else where.

Hotdog and hamburger bun felt like toast. My burger only cover half the bun and I actually had to search for the burger through their chili. The lady cleaning the trays put each tray on the rim of the trash can to wipe them clean and then stacked them on each other. Now, if the bottom of the tray is... More

This is a part of Atlanta's history. Don't go for gourmet food (it's a burger joint), go for the experience and so you can say you've done it. My fave is the chili cheese dog, onion rings and chocolate shake. The fries are a little soggy for my taste. The onion rings are perfection. I have been many times and... More

Our daughter told us we had to try The Varsity when we were visiting Atlanta and it has been reviewed favorably on several food shows on TV. The place is huge with the entire complex covering a city block. It was busy with about 8-10 lines at the various cashiers. Combined, we ordered a large sampling of their menu and... More

Its only relevant cause its famous. It's a dive. The burger is ok at best and the hot dog as well. It is a grease pit. Only went cause people said"you have to go there". Its off my list and won't go back. Over rated

This is a great place to visit for the historical significance of it all. If you are looking for an amazing burger that isn't going to upset your stomach, this isn't the place to go. The Varsity's food is very small and greasy. Their onion rings are probably the best thing that they serve. If you are looking for good... More

I'm a local and have visited the varsity many many times but I'm now disappointed in the level of service. The last two times I've visited have been on Sunday afternoons and I'm frustrated at the service or lack of. The food is fresh and pretty much the same as it's been for 20 years but service is totally off.... More

The world's largest drive in is a cool place to eat if you are visiting Atlanta. It is a huge dinner. It is very busy, but the service is fast. The combo meal will run you about $10 (burger, hot dog, onion rings and drink). I think its a good deal. They use all beef hot dogs.

Way over rated, but as a tourist you must go at least once. If you cannot ever say you have been to the Varsity well then just shut up! Nothing spectacular, good chili, be sure and get it on everything you order. But everyone must make one trip to the Varsity.
